I had gone to urgent care, worn a heart monitor, done EKGs, blood tests, and had multiple follow-ups with doctors. Everything came back "normal." And while that should have been reassuring, deep down, I knew something wasn't right. I had pain, random heart rate spikes even while resting, and an overwhelming sense that something was off in my body. Still, the doctors told me, "You're fine." And honestly? I started to doubt myself. It got to the point where I thought, "Do I have to wait for this to get worse before anyone believes me?" I was starting to feel helpless. I even had nights where I wondered, What if I go to sleep and don't wake up? Out of desperation, I turned to holistic healing. I'd heard of reiki before but had never seriously considered it. But this time, I felt like I had no other choice. I found Kazumi through Peaceful Body Healing, and while browsing her services, I came across something called "BodyTalk." I had never heard of it before, but something about the way it was described felt right. So I booked a session. My first BodyTalk session with Kazumi was on November 28, 2024. I wasn't sure what to expect, but she instantly made me feel comfortable. We talked through my symptoms, emotional stress, and history -- and then she began the session. I laid on the table, she held my hand and began tapping, and soon started asking me questions based on what she was picking up intuitively from my body.
