I have never done acupuncture before until my coworker recommend Dr. Lam. I was complaining about being unable to sleep well and was stressed out. She raved about great he was & how he would be able to identify what the issue is and how to fix it. I went a couple weeks ago for my first session & though I hate needles, I went in with an open mind. He did a consultation & basically told me I had an imbalance. Suggested some things to do- like sleeping before 11 & not eating after 8 would help. After the consultation, we went into one one of rooms where he had me lift my arms & legs to see if one was heavier than the other. So one side was heavier & I told him that. He then pricked one side of my face with a couple needles then had me lift again. To my surprise, both sides felt weightless. I couldn't believe it! He the proceeded to put more needles around my face, head, ears & stomach. Again, I am a huge needle-phobe but Dr. Lam completely put me at ease. There is a slight pain associated but it's very minimal. It feels like a small pimple popping in sensitive areas & nothing in the others. I think each person has their own sensitive areas, mine being the cheeks and chin. After only 2 sessions, I do feel less stressed & my sleep pattern has improved. I believe I have also been getting a face lift because my face always feels tighter after I see him. Not that I need it now but I think it's great for prevention of wrinkles. I'm looking forward to going back and highly recommend Dr. Lam. PS- he texts you to confirm appointments! So awesome.

I came to Dr. Koo with a long term case of GERD that was recently exacerbated by stress. My doctors…read morehad put me on multiple antacids that I was taking constantly, yet they didn't seem to help. First off, Dr. Koo is very easy to talk to. She didn't question my use of Rx drugs or diagnoses, instead she listened attentively and asked me about recent bloodwork. This was a relief because there are natural medicine practitioners who will tell you to stop taking medicines prescribed to you. After one session I felt a great relief of stress and tension. After a week of taking herbs my symptom severity was cut in half. Now that I've finished two weeks of herbs and a few weeks of acupuncture, my symptoms have almost gone. I have been able to stop taking my antacid medications because I simply don't need them. I would highly recommend Dr. Koo's services to anyone. A note on the location: CHA Acupuncture has just recently moved and it can be a bit hard to see from the street. There is a green building with a small opening to a parking lot in the back next to it. It's right next to Brio Apartments. I'm including a pic to help out.

I highly recommend Dr. Jenny Li. She is knowledgeable and caring. I have made a lot of progress…read morewith her and she diligently worked with me to get me well...and she is keeping me well! She is my partner in health! In addition to keeping my Lyme Disease at bay, she has helped me with my depression. I have been able to really cut down on my depression drugs and stop Lyme antibiotics completely. Some have written about the "dreary" location. I can only say that I used to go to a very fancy and expensive place in Beverly Hills. Jenny Li is every bit as good if not better. If you want to pay more for your visit, pay parking, and fight traffic - go to the expensive place. If you want to really get well and have less hassle, go to Jenny. She is certainly clean and uses fresh needles. Its all in your perspective. I have no reservations about recommending Dr. Jenny.

"Dr" Jenny Lee should be sued for malpractice for advising patients to stop taking anticonvulsant…read moremedication and canceling corrective surgery without being a real doctor. I made the mistake of sending my dad to her, who had been suffering from pain in his neck and arm. Rather than stick to her lane and just practice acupuncture, she told my dad that he IMMEDIATELY needed to get off Gabapentin and cancel a pending surgery. GOOGLE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ABRUPTLY CUT OFF GABAPENTIN. It's horrible. It's life threatening. My father ended up in the emergency room and our entire family dealt with a horrible medical (physical and mental) crisis. Thanks, "Dr" Lee! Thanks for a memory we'll never forget, thinking I was witnessing my dad die. I cannot believe this woman is still allowed to practice any kind of health treatment when she so clearly doesn't understand how unqualified she is to give medical advice to vulnerable patients- not to mention how dangerous it is. That she hasn't been sued into oblivion is incredible. STAY AWAY.
