I returned to a ruined watch. The brushed nickel silver finish was rubbed completely off. The watch had been dropped in cleaner and the glass was fogged and the watch face wet. I mentioned it to the woman there(not the owner) who denied any wrong doing. Later, after commenting online to be wary going in there, the owner messaged me how I must have been wrong. Well, I have the watch & the original pieces, the reciept that outlines what was asked to be done. As well as the watch chain pieces that were taken off for sizing that show the original finish. It's obviously been rubbed off. Unfortunate as we were frequent customers from when they had first opened. Watch that was a beautiful gift now looks like wet tinfoil. Behind disappointed & certainly don't appreciate being told I was wrong. Twice. Keepsakes are too precious to trust using them again.
