The farm staff were very welcoming and willing to answer our questions. There was a little outdoor marketplace where vendors were selling their merchandise -- mostly unique handmade items. There is also a small store that reminds you of a vintage country store. Raw honey, old fashioned candy, and much, much more. The store has a vintage vibe but they are modern enough to accept Apple Pay. Score! There are beautiful plants and flowers outdoors. Also you can find yard/garden decor. To wrap up our visit, we bought freshly popped popcorn and ordered handmade milkshakes to go.

While we waited for the event to begin, we walked around the shop and loved seeing the beautiful variety of flowers with everything from potted plants and hanging baskets to herbs and vegetables you can take home and plant yourself. When we headed back outside, we noticed a huge strawberry field behind the store, plus an ice cream area serving fresh strawberry ice cream, which was such a sweet surprise. The cute store is worth a peruse to look at cook books, plants, and other perfect giftables! And save some time to look at the farm animals. There's a herd of friendly alpacas, a coop of chickens (and a free roaming rooster) and even some goats. The animals are so cute and friendly! To walk into the farm you'll proceed through the middle of the complex where there's a second level to the right and a market to the left. We first checked out the animal exhibits which included alpacas, goats and chickens. I had never seen alpacas up that close. Then headed over to the food truck for some soft serve ice cream. I ordered the New Zealand style blueberry basil in a waffle cone which was excellent. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by holl & stone for ice cream and everything else it has to offer.
