Moving forward to 2022 As I live in small town not to many taxpayer services. I'm retired so decided to give them another chance as employee that screwed up last time no longer there. I had a very simple 1040 retired form to be filed. Made a simple Ira to Roth conversion. Other than that all income was from retirement funds. Well after I looked at the finished returns some things popped up that didn't make since. Like why was my state taxed owed more than double last year's return and fed tax was I creased too yet income the same as previous 3 years . Gibbs totally screwed up my conversions 100% and also missed state taxes withheld from income shown on 1099r! If after bringing these issues to their attention they re worked and low and behold a near $4000.00 error!!! Said sorry and still charged me . I told them since I spent hours and hours of my own time verifying their mistake they should be paying me! So what did Gibs do? Raised the fee by 30% and then gave me a 10% discount! As the saying goes bite once, you fault. Bite me twice my fault. NEVER AGAIN
