Excess trimming on arms and stomach are to thank for that. And the shop didnt even put a brush to the rug before it left shop. Taxidermist does not take responsibility for tanneries over trimming. If you want over priced less than par mediocre taxidermy go here. Its a big sales pitch. Go to High Country in Meridian. They do great work.

We are currently attempting tanning a deer hide on our own...let me just say that unless you have all of the tools and know how, it is worth the money to take it to Fur tanning in Nampa. I did give him a call and he was nice enough to tell me the steps to take to try and fix our stiff as a board deer hide He's a nice guy who does a great job from our experience using his services.

I was under the…read moreimpression the cape was the neck back to the shoulders not the entire face back to the shoulders. terry is a nice guy in person but on the phone doesn't wanna explain anything. Poor communication ruined my elk mount he had already cut the rack off my skull by the time I made it home and found out the cape was the face back to the shoulders pretty bummed. Id only go here if you have prior experience with taxidermy and know exactly what you want I didn't want my rack on a different elk. 320in rack for reference

Repeated calls have gotten me "We will send a letter when its ready" and still no skull. At this point, im just going to call it a loss and 3D print a skull and carry on. Never again.
