A smaller liquor store, but adequately stocked. There's a large walk-in cooler, refrigerated craft beers, and a little bit of everything for the wine drinkers. I was surprised with how organized this place was. Different reds. Fruit based. Local winery selections.. Hard liquor, etc. I was impressed with certain finds, such as Saracco moscato d'asti, which was my all-time favorite white (but pricier at $15 over the avg $13/bottle in Chicago), and ICE wine!!!! I asked the worker to help with some recommends, and the gentleman seemed very knowledgable. I had a terrible experience at the drive through window. The guy "Tyler" was so unbelievably rude and treated me like I was stupid after asking him a couple of questions. This liquor store has a surprisingly good selection of wines -- not as good as California but better than what you'd expect in Quincy. More (pleasantly) surprising was the person offering free samples of flavored vodka and Kim Crawford Sauvignon blanc at the entrance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. read more

Decent selection of beer, wine not so much. I've been waiting a month for a quote on a case of a common California wine as I like to keep my business local when possible. Finally gave up and bought it online. Delivered to my door 3 days later at a price I'm know HyVee wouldn't be able to get close to. I think when a store advertises that they are open until 12 PM; they should be open until 12 PM. On nights that they are supposed to be open until 1 AM, they should be open until 1 AM. I don't know how many times on a Friday or Saturday night I have thought, "A couple of cold ones sound good. I still have 25 minutes to get there." When I get there anywhere from 15 to 25 minutes before closing time, even though there are people still in the store; the lighted sign in the parking lot is turned off, and they refuse to serve you. I was there recently 20 minutes before the advertised closing time, went up to the drive-up window, and the employee was there--on the phone with what sounded to be his girlfriend, and he refused to serve me. I stated that it was 20 minutes to closing time, and he glared at me--obviously mad because I had interrupted his personal conversation, and he slammed the window shut. Tonight, I went there with over 20 minutes to spare--Friday night--and they would not serve me. I am through with this place. read more
