Quincy Brewing Company is a great local brewery spot with some delicious beers! The building itself has such charm from the old hardwood floors to the high ceilings to the 'storefront' style entry. I absolutely love these types of buildings and enjoy seeing them retain a lot of their original beauty while entering into a new business era. While my parents and I were there, Quincy Brewing Company had a bbq food truck pull up our back and it smelled amazing. If we could have stayed longer we would have for sure eaten some bbq! They also have a great outdoor patio space which I am sure is a great spot in the summertime. If you enjoy beer and you are in Quincy - check it out!!

A local favorite. QBC brews a large variety of beer with seasonal rotations. For a smaller brewery they have always had 2-4 IPAs, multiple cream ales, sours, ciders, seltzers and browns. I'm sure I'm missing something but all the beer is great. No food is served here but you can bring in your own. They have events each week (trivia, markets, matchbox races) that cater to everyone. The bartenders are always happy and friendly. Inside has multiple tables, most seating 8+ and there is a lovely, large beer garden that in the next year will be expanded even more.

We were on our way to mount pleasant , Iowa. I checked yelp and we stopped for lunch in Quincy, Illinois . Got to visit with the owner and he named the restaurant bar after his job of 25 years, with the railroad. He has all kinds of railroad pics and memorabilia thru out the bar. My wife had the tenderloin sandwich that was as big as her plate. It was made with a very light batter and fried to a golden brown. It was very tasty and my wife took half with her for dinner later. I had what they call the small "shoe" . It starts with toast on the bottom and a hamburger on top. Crispy fries on top of that with with a yummy style of cheese sauce over the whole thing. I do not know what the word shoe has to do with it , but it was very good. I should have added grilled onions but will try that the next time thru. So, if your looking for something different get off of the highway and go 6 miles to Quincy for lunch or dinner. Enjoy!

Super friendly staff. Great selections. I went in on a Sunday and didn't realize they weren't opened yet and they served me anyways.

There is on street parking and an adjacent lot. They offer a wide variety of their own brews plus guest options like ciders and sangria (I love that they offer my favorite Ace Pineapple on tap). They have some seasonal brews and their standard staples. Both tap brews and cans are available. Various size glasses to choose from, as well as flights. The staff is just the best. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Even though this is a new location, there doesn't appear to be a lot of staffing hiccups that you tend to find upon opening. They have only recently opened and we have been many times, we look forward to coming back!

Talked to a bartender today and he said they are working on a second floor bar right now (there are also 2 Airbnbs upstairs). This was my second visit and it appears there is a rotating menu with a large variety of beer, also offer limited cider and wine for those that don't like the hops. There is an onsight BBQ joint as well. Excited for warmer weather to enjoy their patio. Overall a great asset to Hannibal!

I've never seen a margarita put in a glass that is intended for whiskey so that was the first I had sweet tea, but it wasn't sweet at all. We ordered our supper at 6:52 PM. I called the waitress over at 7:45 she said they were backed up in the kitchen. I don't believe this was true. Everyone around us had their food except us. I believe she didn't get the order in or they lost the ticket when the meal came at around 8 o'clock. The baked potato would not melt butter. You could hold it in your hand. It was cold. I ordered grilled fish. I got fried fish. My girlfriend had chicken fried steak. It's actually chicken fried chicken she had mashed potatoes. They reminded us both of when we were in high school. We get those potatoes that you're not quite sure they're potatoes. I called the waitress over. I told her about my meal. She said she'd have them remake it. I said no thank you she said she'd take it off the bill. It's not about money. I can afford to eat wherever I want. She didn't offer to do anything else and I believe us having to wait almost an hour for our food was really ridiculous. Needless to say I'll have second thoughts if I ever decide to eat there again.
