We stayed here for three nights during our honeymoon. Prices are high, but this is a magnificent property. We had a deluxe room with a lovely view of the main lawn down to the sea. We had a drink in the champagne lounge the first night, followed by dinner in the formal restaurant. Both were fantastic. The views from each are so spectacular. The room has been remodeled and had one of the most comfortable beds and linens of our entire trip. The breakfast buffet was impressive... Especially the pastries. You can have breakfast in the main building a la carte or buffet in the building by the water. The gym was all brand new with top of the line equipment. We loved working out there every morning. The only thing we didn't enjoy was lunch at Eden Roc... We ate there twice and both times the food was very expensive and very mediocre. If you must eat there, get the club sandwich. What really makes this property special are the grounds. They are truly magnificent.

My husband and I were in Nice, France for our honeymoon and we decided to take a day trip to Antibes. It was quite easy on the train. From Antibes, we ordered an uber to Hotel Du Cap Eden Roc. You had to make a reservation for lunch beforehand. They have 2 places to eat; the grill or the restaurant. The grill is more casual and cheaper, so we went with that. HOLY VIEWS. This place is gorgeous. We felt like we were amongst the rich and famous here. Be aware, you will drop $40 on a turkey club sandwich. But if you are on a trip where you don't care about splurging, then it is well worth it. We also enjoyed a bottle of Rose because, why not? They let us explore the grounds after lunch as well, so we were able to take in the views.

One of the most amazing places I have stayed. The only reason I gave it 2 stars, is because they put us in a room that was at the end of the hall. We heard a banging noise every 10 seconds the entire night. We called the front desk numerous times and their response was that they were looking into it and that they have never had a complaint like this before. It ended up being a sprinkler pump that runs all night. We didn't sleep more than an hour that night. We wore ear plugs and put a noise machine on. For the first night of a honeymoon, it was a nightmare. They sent us a bottle of champagne. No thanks. We want a room to sleep. That's all we are asking for

You pay for the view!!! This is likely the nicest view I have ever seen. It takes your breath away. There is a formal, indoor restaurant, a more casual restaurant and a champagne bar at the top. The food is excellent--I loved the tuna tartar and steak. Be prepared to pay for the view. If you think that way, your bill will not make you want to jump into the Meditteranean. Because you are paying for the view:) The servers are also very attentive and friendly.

Seriously? This place is from another world. Get yourself a bottle of Vauve and sit by the sea. Just like JFK used too. Awesome.

With that said some weird quirks apply to the room, such as my bath/shower not having a curtain, and every time I shower, it means soaking the entire bathroom. The reception was kind enough and they gave me a good room. The elevator that took me up is basically for one person. This place is historic as Ella Fitzgerald stayed there. Some other famous people were there as well, but I can't recall their names. The room had a nice closet, great bathroom, wonderful shower, large tub, comfortable bed, and excellent tv. The gym and sauna were adequate. The breakfast was great for people on the go who need food early. They opened at 7:30am. The place is located close to Pine Beach, a good spot to walk, and near Antibes. You have to walk about twenty or thirty minutes to get to old town Antibes. It is doable. The local scene is quiet, the Juan les Pins and Antibes area are not as vibrant as Paris, so the scene is more subdued. In the offseason this place is quiet. The pool was cozy, but some guy walked in from the street and it was awkward. All in all, this place is a great find for people in Juan les Pins traveling to the convention center, or looking to enjoy the area.

The sun lounge area to the beach is shockingly over occupied with millimetres from sun lounger to sun lounger this is due to the management allowing the public to use all the facilities at a price which leaves the paying guests forced to be packed in like sardines. Why the hell do they allow this to the general public when it's only a small place. They obviously do not care about the paying customers as they have already taken your money which is extremely expensive. The bar area in the late afternoon and evening is the same, small space which would be fine but again open to the general public. Felt really uncomfortable with it being so packed. I blame the manager for this, he was totally rude and did not care about anything. He was totally uneducated with the surrounding area and with his staff. I asked him what restaurant options we had available as it was a Sunday, his reply was "the fancy restaurant " to which I replied you mean the Michelin Star restaurant. WHAT A CLOWN. We are fortunate enough to have a sports car to which we wanted to drive to St Tropez and asked the manager the best way to find a secure parking spot, his reply " get valet parking from one of the hotels in the area, there is a new hotel in the centre which you could do this but can't remember the name, might be Hotel De Paris" I replied saying that hotel has been there for over 20 years. WHAT A CLOWN Overall, extremely poor, not relaxing, not worth the money, poor service. Sea area extremely congested, bar area extremely congested Left this place feeling extremely angry and feel like we have been robbed of a large amount of money. My man and I landed upon this adorable B&B by accident and good karma. We arrived in Antibes with no reservation, as we chose to travel through Europe with 2 passports, a GPS device (affectionately named Gladys) and a rental car. Hotel la Jabotte was a property recommended by Rick Steve's in one of his books, but the book's description did not pay it justice. First, I wanted (still do) to be best friends with Yves and Claude and perhaps figure out a job in the property that would afford me the lifestyle they live daily in charming Antibes. Since that did not happen and I am back to reality, I feel compelled to mention that this was my favorite property of all the hotels we stayed at throughout Europe. It was far from the most expensive, but not the least expensive of the properties we paid patronage. Warm, accommodating, thoughtful details, affordable but not lacking, with a wonderful location.... I awoke in the morning to enjoy the complimentary and delicious breakfast, but my husband was not feeling well. Claude noticed he did not join me. I wrapped up, headed back to the room to take a shower, and when I emerged.... Claude had set up a special breakfast on the patio outside our room for my husband to enjoy! Fantastic and unsolicited service. Thank you Hotel la Jabotte for creating an everlasting memory for us! Cheers!

Situated in the center of the city, at famous all over the world promenade de la Croisette, it's a walking distance to everything: Palais de Congres where takes place famous Cannes Festival every single year, Casino, shops, restaurants, marina, all tourist attractions and sights. Numerous grand boutiques are right at the hotel or at the corner. Decorated with the photos of famous movie stars, directors and celebrities, visiting Cannes film festival, and most of them were staying at this hotel of course. If you book a regular standard room - don't expect that it will be big and spacious like in the same kind of hotels in US for example. It will be pretty small, but elegantly cozy and with great bed, very comfortable linens and duvet. If you need ice - call room service, there is no ice machine. The suits and penthouses are much larger and some of them have balconies and gorgeous Mediterranean sea view. Minibar in the room, no coffee or tea maker, it's not Marriott... Breakfast is an enormous buffet and it would cost you about 40 euros per person. But it's really something. They offer all you can think of. And Champaign of course - Pommery. Smoked Salmon, cheese selection, meat cuts, order your omlet or eggs of any kind... If you're a breakfast person- you'll indulge yourself. But if you eat just fruits for breakfast- that's offering much more for the price they charge. You can do room service too. SPA is in the building. Looks trendy, but I haven't tried their services. Fitness center looks good too. Occupies two rooms and features various cardio machines, strength, weights, cycling machines, and equipment for functional training and even for boxing. They offer packages, like 5th night for free, SPA package etc. The outdoor pool is right next to the Fouquet's restaurant and it's not big, but enough to relax and have a drink may be. There is a bar right next to the pool. They have their private beach. The rates are really incredibly high to my mind and there are people who are paying the price for some hotels less than they charge for the sun bed at the beach, but for the Cannes standards I would say that it's quite normal. Full day at the beach (9am-6:30 pm) would be 50 Euros average for person. Half day would be average 30 per person. They have slight difference if you reserve at pontoon, first raw or regular beach area. And the water sports rentals are at the pier, invcluding such activities as parasailing, flying fish, water-skiing, wakeboarding, etc. Also lessons with instructor are possible. There is a restaurant and lounge area. Restaurant is open for lunch from noon. Beach looks beautiful. But I noted that after rains or light storm they don't bother to clean it- the seashore and the water there was incredibly dirty, full of disgusting garbage. For the hotel of this level it was very disappointing, especially if you have to pay for the beach 40-50 Euros per person and overlook all this dirt. Of course I understand that people don't go much into to the water to swim, but just stay there the to show off, but if the water was cleaner may be they would go in more... On the territory there are 3 restaurants and 2 bars. Fouquet's Cannes as the one in Paris is really famous in the city as well as the Rotonde Louise Pommery Bar. There are charming helpful concierges working all the time and they will be happy to reserve you a table at the Michelin star restaurant of your likeness or suggest you something nice to their taste. They apologized and promised to upgrade us to an even better room than the one we had originally booked. When the room was finally ready, we were completely shocked. We had paid nearly €10,000 for a 7-night stay, yet the room was under 25 square meters, had no balcony, and barely had enough space to walk around. The staff were rude, especially the older French woman at the reception, whose only explanation was, "human error." We had booked this stay 1.5 months in advance, so this excuse was simply unacceptable. They eventually moved us to another room that was only a few square meters larger and located right next door--even though she had insisted the hotel was completely sold out. On top of that, guests have to pay for Wi-Fi, €75 per day for parking, and breakfast wasn't even included. To make matters worse, the omelet station uses the same pans and utensils for pork products despite the large number of Muslim guests staying at the hotel. This shows a complete lack of consideration for their guests. The hotel itself is outdated and poorly maintained. One of the elevators was out of service throughout our stay, resulting in long waiting times. We checked out after just 24 hours and were offered no refund, no discount, and no compensation whatsoever for the nearly €10,000 we had paid. We didn't even receive a genuine apology or a smile from the older lady at the front desk. I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel. Save yourself the disappointment and stay far away.
