We only needed a place to stay for a night on our way to other parts of The country. Since the reviews were decent and the pictures posted by travelers seemed okay, we booked a few weeks in advance. The hotel is very difficult to find and while they do their best to inform you of the parking situation we weren't able to find it. We didn't realize the code they issue was to drop the barrier that prevents you from entering the street. The lobby was nice, very European and the employees couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The room smelled like smoke and if we weren't exhausted or only staying for one night, I would have asked for another room. The room seemed clean, but I was suspicious because my neurotic self tells me if it smells dirty, it is dirty. The towels were flimsy and there were no face towels. One of the outlets did not work. The blow dryer was useless, not only did it lack power but there was no on off button, I had had to press and keep a button pressed in order to keep it on.
Overall the hotel was average at best but given the amazing location and that we only had to stay for one night it served our needs. read more
