One of the Stockholm metro stations on the "green" line, Hötorget is quite busy as it is near the Hötorget square and the Hötorgshallen food hall. It is located in downtown so you can expect lots of tourists and lots of commuters here. Considering it opened in 1952, it is quite modern!
The station has an island platform, which means that the train doors will open on the left side. It is between Rådmansgatan (towards Åkeshov and Alvik and Hässelby strand) and T-Centralen (towards Skarpnäck and Farsta strand and Hagsätra). The station is handicapped accessible and step free with lifts and escalators between the platform level and street level.
The station has three entrances, one at each end and one in the middle from Kungsgatan. The central entrance includes an underground square with several shops and stores. They are very clearly marked with the usual "T" in the circle that denotes the Stockholm metro. Ticketing kiosks and turnstiles are present.
