Enjoyed my short stay here! Hotel was not busy at all. Check in went smoothly and the hotel and…read morerooms seems pretty new and fresh. Beds were super comfy! I didn't take advantage of the bar or restaurant since i was mostly out and about for work. Would recommend this stay when either passing through or if you're looking for a place to stay outside of Boise

This Holiday Inn is my favorite place to stay in Nampa. Every time I've stayed there, the staff…read morehas been friendly, attentive and happy to go out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. I also really appreciate that there seems to be longevity in the staff there--I get to see the same, familiar faces every month when I visit. It's a welcome sight. One person, in particular, is my very favorite: Janice, who run the morning breakfast program, is a true National Treasure. She is so sweet and so attentive, and so proud of the food and the overall experience she delivers. She took the time to learn my name and remembers me each time I come in. She always calls me "young man", which makes me feel special because at 43, a young man I am not. Janice is a true asset, as are the entire bar staff. They create such a fun and inviting atmosphere that draws guests in--not to mention that they are all highlly trained and make EXCELLENT drinks--especially my favorite, the chocolate martini! It is lovely to get your martini and then go sit outside by the firepit and enjoy it. Love this team. Rooms are modern and inviting; everything works, beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. The only other thing is the old, cold-war era, truly FRIGHTENING alert systems built into each room. When you schedule a wakeup call, not only does the phone ring to wake you, but then there's this large black box on the wall, which looks like it was ripped out of the DeLorean from Back to the Future, flashes a bright white light and sounds an alarm so loud you'd think that the generator is about to have a nuclear melt down--all part of your innocent WAKE UP CALL. I nearly pissed myself the first time this happened--I thougth they were evacuating the premisis due to a fire or emergency. Turns out, it was just the wake up call!! One thing is I really wish the menu would be changed up. As a business traveller with no rental car, my choices within walking distance are: Burger Theory (your in-house restaurant), Burger Habit, across the street, Burger King down the street, TGI Fridays with their burger specials, and Wingers. Could we maybe do something else on the menu that is lighter fare, so I don't gain another 20 lbs? Just a request. You gotta do it because none of those outside restaurants are going to, and we need to eat things other than burgers every night. As crazy as those last two items are, they would not dissuade me from staying here again, which I have already booked. Come stay at the Holiday In Nampa--the staff will go out of their way to make sure you're haivng a great time and a good night's sleep, a nice swim or workout or anything else you would like. Thanks team! And please give special recognition to Janice--she deserves it!

As a Hilton Honors member, I frequently stay at Hampton Inns and found most of them to be good…read more. if not great. This one is good... NOT great. The positives: The room is big and clean. The hotel is modern and nice. The shower has great water pressure if not a bit wanky from the shower head. The staff is nice, the breakfast is standard but the scrambled eggs, sausage and roasted potatoes made it great. The bad..besides not havinga smart TV.....oh my gosh... in room 216... you can hear every. Single. Footsteps from the upstairs. I don't know if the floor is creaking or what happened... but the 2 nights I stayed here were the worst! You can also hear the TV... from upstairs. I've never heard this before and despite a nice text from someone from the hotel and an offer to give 7000 points, I will never stay here again if I can't stay on the top floor.

Highly don't recommend using booking.com to purchase a room with this hotel (or any hotel for that…read morematter). I mainly blame the issues on booking.com but I think the hotel has some work to do as well. When my room was originally booked I had a regular king room. We had some travel changes as you do, so I needed two beds instead of one. I called the hotel originally and they would have nothing to do with me. They said because I booked through booking.com I have to go through them. So I did. I called and waited on hold with booking.com. They went back and forth with the hotel but finally confirmed I upgraded my room to two queens rather than one king... With an upcharge of $40 immediately charged to my card. Then when I arrived at the hotel, they gave me a king room. When I asked about it they acted like they never heard anything from booking.com and again because I booked through that service they gave me absolutely no leeway. No attempts to make things right or help accommodate our situation. They said they didnt have any rooms with two queens available. So we went to the Walmart across the street and got an air mattress and made it work. It was incredibly annoying and not up to the standard of customer service I think is accociated with Hilton in general. Booking.com still hasn't returned my upgrade fee and they said not to expect it for 7-14 days, even though it took 30 seconds for them to charge it. I'm never booking with that service again. As for the actual hotel, it was pretty nice. It was fairly clean though I did see some whiskers in the bathroom and some dust in the corners. The bed was clean. I always check for signs of bedbugs or other pests and I found nothing on/under/around the mattress. There were not any weird smells and I really appreciated that the room was very dark with the curtains pulled. Breakfast was pretty good. Nothing spectacular but it was good enough for us. The worst part was the eggs being a little watery. The waffles, bacon, yogurt, fruit, and muffins were all good. We didn't use the pool but it looked fun and clean, though a little small. The location of the hotel was great. The staff was overall very nice other than when I needed help with my room issue. They happily brought up extra blankets, towels, and pillows up to my room. They were also nice to give me a pack and play for my baby during our stay. The pack and place did not come with any sheets or anything so I had to request some (none crib sized) and I had to fold it under to make it work. Overall I would stay at this hotel again, just through their official website and not through booking.com!!!
