We stayed in Room 118 10/2 - 10/3/2024 - $100.69/night. The carpet needed cleaning and the shower head was clogged. Great breakfast, though - eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, English muffins, waffles, juice and coffee. But ... what exactly is up with the air freshener use at this property? We got back for our second night and the entire first floor, including our room, was absolutely saturated with smell to the point we had to open the window!!! The TV volume was governed, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. This was our fourth stay here, and three of four had some kind of smoking+air freshener issue, so we will seek accommodations elsewhere next time we're in Boise. I left a note for the manager the morning we checked out and no credit was issued to my card and no contact was made. BOO. Grade C. read more

The room smelled of smoke that they had tried to disguise. I got there later in the day and had an early flight so I didn't have an option of moving. I opened the window to get some fresh air. I went home with my hair, my bags, my clothes smelling of the stench. Horrible experience. The room was not clean some kind of icky substance all over the controls on the air conditioning. This place was so nice for my stay! I came into town to visit family and from the front desk service, to the complimentary breakfast, and super clean rooms, everything was perfect! Definitely a great stay!! Shoutout to the front desk, Lisa, she was so sweet and helpful. She provided me with recommendations on places to eat, visit, and shopping while in Boise. She was so helpful, warm, and welcoming. They have complimentary coffee all day as well. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you always have everything you need to additional towels, bedding, soaps, anything. I felt so comfortable here. We (my husband, me and our 2 kids) stayed here on Nov. 17th for 1 night and I am so glad we chose this inn! Clean, spelled good.... That might be a weird thing to say but I truly remember thinking oh this smells good when we walked in the front and when we walked into the room. Our room was very clean, we did book the 2 beds because it was cheaper but they gave us a room with 3 beds. We were not mad lol we used all three! We could hear the people above us a little bit but not enough to be irritating. The "mini" fridge was huge!! We did stay for breakfast and the variety was awesome. They had a waffle station, yogurt, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, 4-5 different cereal choices, juice, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal and bagels. we made reservations two weeks prior from checking in. when we arrived the entire floor was under a construction remodel. the room was gutted with no closet or drawers. we were not informed that this hotel was being overhauled and still accepting guests. the manager was useless and refused to give us a partial refund or acknowledge that we weren't informed about the remodel, will never come back with this kind of dishonesty. read more

Beds are awful. The first room was not cleaned, they did give us a different room. I had requested 1st floor. They gave me 2nd floor. Because first floor is under construction from 6am to 8 pm. This was not disclosed at the time of the booking. But the worst is the smell it is some kind of chemical. It literally made my eyes water. Nice little place next to the airport. Very quiet area considering. Lots of parking. Staff were freindly and check in was fast. Room was pretty clean and even has a fridge and microwave. I personally don't like it when the fridge is not inside a closed cabinet, because you hear the compressor come on all the time. The bed seemed well past its time. You almost sink into it and you could feel the springs. The shower seems to be set up for someone that is really tall and has zero water pressure. My only two real complaints was the free coffee (in the lobby) had zero taste to it and the hallways don't have a number guide/sign when you get off the elevator, to get you to your room. read more

So, here's the thing...overall, the stay was good, but I won't stay again. Maybe it was an issue on Expedia as the Expedia app indicated the room was going to be dual KING beds...instead, the beds were full sized. So, for $97 I got two full sized beds when I could have stayed at a La Quinta or Days Inn and paid the same rate for much larger beds. And the "full Size" seemed smaller than a full size, considering I have one in my guest room at home. Secondly...when arriving, no one was at the desk...no biggie, but the front desk clerk seemed annoyed that I was checking in. I didn't want to use the credit card I used to hold the room but the front desk clerk didn't even ask if the card on file was the card I wanted to use for payment. She just ran it. When I realized she ran the card, I told her I wanted to use something different and her reply was, "Well, then, why did you hold the room with this card? There's nothing I can do about it now," which isn't true...maybe thirty years ago cancelling a charge would have been difficult or time consuming but not today. Third...the room I initially had wasn't even ready. It looked as though an orgy had happened with trash all over the place; there were literal balled up and wet-looking towels on the floor and both beds were a mess and moved. I went back to the clerk and she seemed more annoyed that I wanted to change my room than actually taking care of a customer. Fourth...the hotel was HUMID...I'm not even sure the AC was on in the building. No big deal as the rooms had their own AC...just something to note. The room itself was clean...nothing to write home about, nothing to complain about. It was a place to sleep for the night. I appreciated the mattresses being in a zipped bed wrap. More hotels should do this (seriously). The stay was fine...nothing loud...It was just everything else about the hotel itself and the staff. I doubt I'll ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone else. For the same price I'll stay at Days Inn and have a larger bed. read more

I booked a room here when I went to Boise to pick my husband up from the airport. I paid online and when we got to the hotel the front desk lady tried telling us they didn't charge my card for the room and I HAD THE RECEIPT IN MY EMAIL. I went back to the site where I made the reservation and told her I was looking at the paid receipt. She kept denying that it was paid. When I gave her the last four of the card I used she looked down at the computer, not doing anything to it and said oh yes I see it now... WHAT?! She didn't type anything or move the mouse at all!!!! We got to the room and the Walls were caked with dust. The fridge didn't work. The button to turn the temp up and down just fell out. The beds were very springy. I would NOT waste your money. I have learned when it comes to hotels/motels, just pay extra for the nicer ones because the cheap ones just aren't worth the irritation and hassle! read more

This is our second time staying here. We got a clean room, great breakfast and decent service for a great price. Located right by the airport but we weren't flying anywhere. The only issue I had was a minor issue which was a maintenance issue with our blinds. I told the front desk and was told that a work order would be placed ro get it fixed. The next morning, before we checked out, I went to confirm that it would be fixed and was told there was no work order but maintenance was there taking care of something else and would get him there after. I just wanted to make sure we weren't accused of breaking anything. The front desk employees were very nice. We works definitely stay here again. read more

We stayed here for one night on our roadtrip. The hotel staff were kind, attentive and knowledgeable. We were greeted and given extra towels when needed. I will begin by stating that I've done a lot of work & personal travel over my lifetime, and stayed in lots of hotels/motels/timeshares. Inn America was truly the most sub-par hotel that I have ever experienced. The check-in experience involved being told that due to COVID, the do not provide mid-stay maid service... so if we need anything (towels, soap, etc), we were advised "find a maid cart mid morning and they can get you what you need". I should have known that they actually meant that you have to walk the 3 floors until you find a maid cart. And the maid carts are really only working "mid morning", so if you dont catch them when they are out, you're outta luck. That was fun, especially staying 4 days, there's a chance we need something over that time. They also explained that the continental breakfast menu is posted, and we would have to ask the front desk to get the menu items each morning. Little did we know, it is an actual chore and you will be given the ultimate look of hatred if you ask the front desk folks to get up and grab you a yogurt and banana during breakfast hours. We were traveling with a team of teenage wrestlers, who were VERY well behaved, but they are teenagers. The front desk people (across from the kitchen) would see a line of 6 kids waiting for food, and they would sit put and wait for someone to come ask for breakfast before they would stand up, and then make it very clear that they were bothered by having to retrieve food for guests. I experienced this same service when I went down by myself with no teenagers, I'm confident that this is their overall attitude and not the result of teenage presence. We arrived in our room to find dirty washcloths in the bath, and a musty old sweat odor on the pillows and bedding. We slept with towels on our pillows because of it. The hotel was booked solid due to a tournament and they'd already made it clear that its a "fend for yourself" environment so we didn't bother discussing it with them. We did spend about 20 min trying to find a maid cart the first day so that we could get more towels. The towels themselves were the smallest towels i have ever seen in a hotel. The shower was awful, no adjusting shower head, just an OLD fixed head attached to a fixed pipe. It really was more of a "mist head" because its so calcified and clogged that the water just sprays randomly wherever it can come from. It was the most terrible shower head I've ever seen in a hotel too. It was gross. The pillows were small and not well formed, clearly very old. The walls are ridiculously thin, and its not far off from lots of traffic (lots of street noise). We heard every step in the hallway. And the neighbors next door. Every door that closed on our floor, we heard it. On the 3rd day of our stay, we couldn't find a maid cart, so we asked the front desk for a couple laundry bags. They didn't know what laundry bags were, left for awhile and returned saying she didn't have any. No options offered or alternatives sought. So I asked for a couple garbage bags. That seemed to be a huge deal also. Somehow this request seemed to be really difficult and it took a few minutes to get a couple bags. We found it interesting that there was no spare toilet paper in our rooms... I think 3 rooms within our party ran out of TP during their stay and had to track down a maid cart. We spent WAY too much time tracking down basic human needs that should have been part of our stay with minimal effort. We should not have needed to track down TP in multiple rooms. Multiple issues were encountered with key cards not working consistently and having to ask the front desk to fix. They really don't like to be bothered. I also overheard them double booking rooms when we checked out. Two separate guests mentioned being issued keys and walking into rooms that had people IN them. The two stars is primarily due to location, and lack of bed bugs in the rooms that I saw. Oh and the fridge. read more

This was a nice little hotel. Staff is friendly, and rooms are clean. It's moderately priced and close to the airport. They offer continental breakfast that was good. There's a waffle maker so you can make your waffles. I would say the one downside that I wasn't particularly happy with is that there was a promise of a pool, but when we got dressed to head on out there - we were told that it would not be open till after Memorial Day. It was over 80 degrees! They should really open sooner or advertise that it's not open till then. That was a major bummer because we were all psyched up for it because it had been such a hot day and we had been wandering about so much. Oh well. read more

Service staff are friendly. No airplane noise. I was concerned that being located near the airport meant that I would be away from Boise activities and restaurants. I did not need to worry. I decided to book the Inn America property here in Boise for a one night stay, just because it was one of the cheaper ones in Boise, besides Motel 6. I don't think I've been with Inn America before elsewhere, so it was a nice treat to stay here on a budget. I stayed here on a recent Friday night in October 2017. I received room 220 and a king bed. To be honest though, this was a nice enough place and crash in and the value was unprecedented. Inn America can be compared to a Super 8 or a Days Inn. They're all good brands and deliver quality and a good night's rest for anyone who checks in here. Inn America Boise was still good and it is very much located about a minute away from the airport, so you can stay here and be close enough to where you probably can walk to the airport terminal. They probably have an airport shuttle, although I rented a car while in Boise, so better check on that. The price here is about $70 per night with taxes and fees, which is pretty good already. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and felt nice to just hang out for a spell after a day of traveling. In my case, road tripping from Ogden, UT. The overall experience here at the Inn America motel here in Boise, Idaho was that of good, nice, and uneventful, yet average at the same time. I'm usually used to traveling on a budget, so these lower end properties suits me just fine. Just need a bed and Roof over my head at an affordable price, while being in a safe area. I checked in around 8pm after grabbing dinner nearby and the service was nice and friendly. The check out was good too, short and sweet. This Inn America is located at 333 Main Street, near the Boise regional airport. Like many hotel properties out there, the Inn America accepts major credit cards, which is usually mandatory these days. Cash is always welcomed too, although not many people do that. There is a private parking lot for hotel guests here, but stalls are limited, so you may want to check in early to get a prime parking spot for the night. Just saying. The room itself was equipped with the usual big flat screen television, microwave and mini fridge, which was great. While I didn't use the microwave, it was nice to use the mini fridge for the wine I kept cold, among other items. :) The king bed was actually very comfortable and got myself a 8 hours of sleep, which was very much needed. Driving crazy miles on I-84 was an experience! Everything worked good and the air conditioner was kind of noisy. The shower was okay, but it took a while to warm up, considering that temps outside was in the 40's F at night during my stay. For the most part though, the enjoyable part was the actual sleep on the king sized bed. It was nice to spread out and be very relaxed and comfortable. I would like to recommend this hotel brand, regardless if you are on a budget or not. This place can save you money while providing you with good accommodations at a good price so you can do other stuff with your money while you travel and explore this world. 4.0 stars for the entire stay. 3.0 stars for the continental breakfast, which consisted of juice/coffee, eggs, waffles, and assorted pastries. - among other items. 4.0 stars for the service and the room comfort. Best budget friendly hotel we've found in Boise area. Room was clean with larger than normal mini fridge. Staff was great. Decent size TV with DIRECTV and HBO channels. Pools a little on the small size a bit on the chill side and maybe needs a little bottom cleaning. No jacuzzi. Free breakfast with make your own waffles, cereal and breakfast sandwiches. Pet friendly. Couldn't hear the next door neighbors at all. Close to downtown and the airport. After the nightmare stay at the budget inn on our last trip. My first impression of Inn America was that it was a repurposed retirement center but in the short time we stayed there, this humble Inn really shined where it counts the most. We were with our pet so we were told that we'd be receiving a "pet room." I was initially turned off by the segregation but the room didn't have any negative qualities other than the floor being stained. No biggy, I can wear sandals. Other than that, the room was very clean, bathroom was mostly clean (toilet was kind of old so it carried some stains). Our stay also came with a breakfast and I love when places have the waffle maker. The stations for breakfast were very clean and food was plentiful and quality. Some things included waffles, fruit, bagel egg and sausage, yogurt, cereal, juices, coffee, etc. I also didn't get a chance to use their pool but from what I could see from the outside it looked fairly kept. Overall, I would stay at this Inn again if I'm ever in town. read more

One problem is people think $70 for a room is a "steal"... in Boise, ID, where so many people have jobs paying $7.25-15/hr cuz it's a right to work state and rents have doubled or tripled in the last 5 years cuz Californians will pay that. Anyway... My friend was a paying customer. She and her son caused no problems. But apparently the flying monkeys of the frenemy lied or something because she gets out of the hospital from major surgery and they accuse her of being on drugs. Ummm yeah the pain medicine after SURGERY which she only took when absolutely necessary. and then different employees make comments that make it clear they've been gossiping about them. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. And then make her leave and make everyone with campers leave and accuse her of living in the camper when they had a room... I'd give a zero stars if possible. The one manager apparently was great so I gave a star for her. It's not immoral or wrong to be poor or sick!!! especially when you're paying your room bill and they still take out $ and overdraw your acct and then claim you didn't pay and make you call your bank to prove it... just too much stuff... read more

When we woke up in the morning we tried showering and brushing our teeth and the water was off... when we asked the front desk just for a partial refund, they refused and made us feel bad for even asking for one, when our water and other things we paid for didn't even work.... I had big pros and cons with this place. Pros: This place is newly renovated. It feels like a three star hotel at a 1 and a half or two star price. Microwave and mini fridge already waiting in the room. The rooms are really pretty. Free wifi. Clean. Cons: The bed was really uncomfortable. Neither I nor the hubby slept well. Also, they had a good variety of options at the continental breakfast, but they were all kind of disappointing. Neither the baked goods nor the fruit was yummy. They do have some pre-packaged muffins though, good to grab for the road! Because of the bed, I don't think I would stay here again. So we check in and the whole third floor smells of skunk weed not once but 3x during our single night stay. There was weed crumbs on the counter near the sink and our room smells like weed. I think an emplyee was smoking it up. Didnt say anything bc it was kinda funny. Didnt like the water pressure or lack of hot water. The room was messy and u could see butt marks on bed. To quote the 3bears someone has been sleeping in my bed!! Or maybe just taking their breaks in my room? someone (staff member) left weed sprinkles on the counter and uses non occupied rooms to hang out in is my guess. Told employee at front desk about the weed smells and she wasn't shocked or did she care. She just said, "that's unfortunate" we didnt make a ruccuss maybe we should have?? This place used to be really clean, but I don't think we'll stay here anymore when we come through boise (every month). This last time was really crappy from the room looking so bad, weed on the counters, the smell, the downhill spiral of no one caring...sucky stay. Morning staff not very pleasant.. my daughter spilled syrup on herself and needed a bath at 11 am ...i called down to the desk to ask for a 1 o'clock check out and the front desk said " i said 12 was check out period "... i was speechless and hung up the phone . There is no microwaves in my or my dads room. Which made late night hunger complex instead of comfortable. Soda bottles are 2$ and cans are a 1$. I know that seems petty to mention however the hotel seems to only think about making money and not the comfort of the guests. The graveyard shift however made check in comfortable and easy. He was also friendly and helpful. Maybe if they had more staff with his customer service it would be a lot more comfortable place to stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I will not be back and neither will my friends or family. read more

We have stayed here before. The rooms are very nice, however Thhousekeeping did not make up the room Second night we stayed. When we asked about it we were told that they would not make up the room because of COVID-19 virus. That would be fine if you were going to charge me less for the room or at the minimum tell me when I checked in. No clean towels no clean sheets And no notice. Staff was apathetic. Gave me some towels and said I can't really do anything. I then said this does not mean a good review and she Shrugged her shoulders and walked away. They say they have "free airport shuttle" yet, these crooks charged nearly $40 to my credit card, without my authorization, which is fraud, when I checked out and asked them to call me their airport shuttle. The airport entrance is literally, 200 yards away! I just noticed the charge and will report it to the district attorney in their county as I'm willing to bet that they have a pattern of such fraud. read more
