Had a bad incident with my iPhone 8 while dining out and trying to get a picture taken at a local restaurant where the device was dropped and the screen shattered. Lady at the front desk was rude, clueless and incompetent. Gave me my phone back in worse condition than when I gave it to them to fix. Also, they overcharge (180$ to fix a screen) and say they'll 'throw in a free cover'. Complete idiocy. Don't get ripped off and go Somewhere with better service. read more

I had them replace a battery.. she replaced the battery. When I started to ask questions about the software she got very short with me.. then I found out she did more damage to my phone and it is going to cost me more to fix it than the original cost. When I called them about it she told me to take it to a place to see what the damage is, but then wanted me to send it to her.. my first mistake was to take it to a place out of town. Second mistake was to take it to someone that did not know you could damage the phone while removing the battery.. would I ever used her again NO. wjen I called to get it settled she would not allow me to talk to her manager..I guess she did not want to admit to her manager that she did not know what she was doing. read more

I have a Gen5 Classic White IPOD. My screen was a broken mess. I hated to send to Apple because of rumors about music being erased or not getting your IPOD back. Took it to Greg. It took about 5 weeks to get it back. It is working like a dream and I can see what I am playing! If you need repair on your classic, I would recommend him. I reside in Venice, FL and brought my iPod 160gb Classic to the Venice, FL store for screen replacement and a new battery. This store kept it for 2 MONTHS and replaced (so they say) the battery to the iPod. Well almost nothing. Please continue to read. Two months? Seriously? I called every week for an update and was told the parts would be in soon. I finally had it and drew line in the sand and retrieved the iPod from the store. Upon attempting to use it THE VERY NEXT DAY, the volume was stuck on half (1/2) volume and would not go any lower than 1/2...way to low. It was WAAAAAYYYY too loud to use. I brought it back for them to fix it. I was told by, I believe his name is Brent, who told me "I've never run into this before". Well he CAUSED THE PROBLEM and I assumed (my mistake) that he would be able to give back to me they way I brought in in, that being working perfectly fine. A went by before I called. Not one of my emails was returned and their phone just rang with no response or the ability to leave a message. So I called again, this time he (Brent) answered the phone telling me that it's an Apple FIRMWARE problem. BU.L SH.T. It worked just fine when I dropped it off. At this point it's going to cost me a ridiculous amount of money to have it repaired by Apple. DRAW YOU OWN CONCLUSION AND CAVEAT EMPTOR. read more

I never heard so much BS over such a simple issue. We just needed a battery for a Motorola Z. After taking a deposit and two weeks gone by still no battery. The lies were not only obvious but ridiculous, about storms in NY delaying the mail, special order because the phone is rare, I thought I called you, etc. Went to Paradise in Venice, no deposit got the battery the next day, phone works great. read more

They are called IfixaPHONE for a reason, not IfixaTELEVISION, even though they do work on TVs as well as phones. Kept my TV for over a month & still couldn't figure out what was wrong. i have been to the Venice location twice in the past 6 months for two different phones to be fixed. The first time with my phone they replaced the charger port for me to pickup the next day, and recently they repaired my wife's phone. She had dropped it nearly two years ago and four different repairs shops, and Samsung, said the on/off button cannot be fixed. I took to I-Fix-A Phone in Venice and it was repaired for $50.00 in three days. When the manager contacted me to inform me it was repaired he apologized that it took so long. Good quick service on a broken iPhone 7 glass screen replacement. I see no difference from the original except it's no longer water proof. They can not replace the water seal. I am told no one can once the original screen is replaced. Otherwise competitive price and quick service. read more

Had the screen/glass replaced after I cracked it on my IPhone 6 Plus. New screen is less responsive in that you have to tap on it hard to use it. Checked the problem out online from other Ifix-it customers with the same problem. Definitely inferior quality screen which voids your Apple warranty when they install it. They should of told me that. Also my microphone stopped working after they installed it. Again read about the problem online which indicated that the screen was improperly installed and it is not aligned right. I should have taken it to Apple read more

Had my battery changed on my iphone 6. New battery worked for a day and then my phone would not turn on. Returned it and they put old battery back in. Still would not turn on. They said must be something else wrong. I know they say they fix phones but.... Do yourself a favor and do not have your iphone battery changed there. read more

Do not recommend this company at all. Not only they didn't fix my Samsung S6 Edge but also they irrevocably damaged the back door housing of the phone. Still charged $90 for phone not fixed, damaged even more. Case filed to BBB & Small Claims Court. Stay away if you don't want to waist money.
