Great service. In and out in 20 minutes with a new phone screen. My son picked up a couple squishmellows from the thrift items.

It only took 20 minutes to repair and Morgan even gave my daughter a phone cover for free because hers was in bad shape.

1 Star -- The Worst Repair Experience of My Life!…read more I've never written a bad review before, but what happened at this so-called "repair shop" was an absolute disgrace. I came to them because the backlight on my Samsung phone stopped working -- the phone turned on, charged, made calls, everything worked fine, I just couldn't see the screen. After their "diagnosis," they told me I needed to replace the entire screen module. I trusted their judgment and paid $125 for the repair. And guess what? I got my phone back in worse condition than before. The screen now just lights up, but I can't unlock it at all. The phone keeps saying my pattern is incorrect -- even though I've used the same pattern for over 7 years on all my devices without ever changing it. When I came back to explain the issue, instead of helping, they started acting rude and defensive, trying to blame me and claiming that I must have changed the password before bringing it in. Really? The same pattern I've used for seven years somehow stopped working the moment you touched the phone? Their explanations were completely nonsensical. It's obvious they have no real technical understanding of what they're doing. Even a beginner could find dozens of possible causes online -- faulty digitizer calibration, firmware mismatch, bad grounding, incompatible touch controller -- yet they didn't check any of that. Zero professionalism. Zero responsibility. To make matters worse, the "new screen" they installed turned out to be used and scratched, even though they promised me a brand-new one. I have photos to prove it. So now I've ended up with a broken phone after paying for a "repair." I had to go back just to get my old screen returned so I could take it to someone competent. This company is the definition of incompetence, dishonesty, and poor customer service. They don't care about quality, only about taking your money and blaming you when things go wrong. Avoid this place at all costs! If you value your phone, your time, and your sanity -- do NOT bring it here. Shops like this should not even be allowed to repair phones.

After repair, we can play CDs, and "please update" does not appear, but the unit cannot keep time unless playing a CD or the radio. When "idle", it flashes "please wait" every minute, resets, and loses time while doing so. We discovered this within minutes of its return after repair, confused as to how this could have been returned in this state. We immediately contacted Art's, and were told the 90 day warranty would cover it, so paid again to return it to Art's and it was finally returned to us a second time today, with no communication whatsoever, in the same state as we sent it to Art's the second time, more than a month ago. It still flashes "please wait" about once per minute, resets, and cannot keep time. Communication here is not good - no acknowledgement of receipt (either time) or of return, or what, if anything, was done. I appreciate the CD player repair, but we used the unit as the clock and alarm in our bedroom, and it is totally useless for that now despite two repair attempts. It would have been nice to just state that it couldn't be repaired, but to receive it back in the same condition with no note, email, or any communication after more than a month, is very frustrating. I spent over $300 in shipping and repair costs. I think I bought the unit for $299 or $249. I really wanted this to work out as I used to love radio, but I guess like Bose moved on, I will now have to move on to something else.
