Keeping it short and Not-Sweet: I was on College BLVD driving my SUV. A work truck from this company didn't secure the waste fully in the back of his truck.. there was 3 cars including myself affected. Drivers are completely unsafe and nearly ran my dog and daughter over in north park. They cut us off as we walked and instead of yielding they ridiculed us and told us to "have a nice day". With so many other options, go with someone else. read more

So I've used this company in the past and had a positive experience. Today I asked for a quote and sent a pic of the items to be removed and the owner Matthew quoted 3 TIMES the amount they charged me to remove 3 times the amount of items from 2 locations!!! He mentioned a "minimum" that they never had before. Either they are under new management or have been smoking something to charge the astronomical amount they tried to charge me. Needless to say I am not using them again. I found a different company with a more reasonable price for the same exact items. I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend these folks. Such a shame. read more

I hired I-Haul to hall away some junk in my garage and I was pleased with the results.

Fluffy cleaned out the burrow after Mrs. Bunny filled it with too much darn stuff. After a helpful Yelp search, the great folks at I-Haul made life livable again. I had a old camper shell I had to dispose of and after calling a few other places this was the only one who called me back right away. They were professional on the phone, he explained all items were recycled, reused, or donated which was important to me and he quoted a very reasonable price, half what the other quote was that I received hours later from another service. Scheduled a pick up for 9am the next day and he was at my door at 8:58am. Professional, on time, good prices, and environmentally conscious. Our hot tub went from being a relaxing oasis to an eyesore over the years. I called around to the local removal places - a few never bothered to call back. I emailed I-Haul, and promptly received a reply and quote. The prompt reply, quote and fact that they emphasized recycling made me go with them. They were running a few minutes behind on the pick-up date, but called me right away to let me know. When they got there - they went to work right away and never stopped until the former hot tub area was cleaned and empty. I've known Matt and Mark for years. Anthony married my husband and I. These are family guys and super awesome. I'm not writing this review because they are my friends, but because they are great workers. I worked at a storage company in Carlsbad and recommended them to haul away our abandoned goods. The storage company still uses I Haul thoughout San Diego county. I am now at a different storage company and we also use I Hauls' services. They have great prices and are hard workers. On a personal note...I am very proud of Matt. I was there when he put the first I Haul sticker on his first I Haul vehicle (ugly tan van.) My husband and I have watched him and his company grow. On top of that. they took extra time to clean the residue left by the junk they removed. Hire these guys. I needed my dad's place emptied to get it ready for sale. I texted some photos. They agreed to come early the next day. I was nervous because I was driving over two hours and hoped they'd show. They were exactly on time, super helpful, did a great job and I was amazed the final price was lower than the top end estimated, They said they donate the better stuff and named the exact charities I had wanted to donate to myself but it was too difficult for me to manage various pickups. Decided to use I-Haul because of the Yelp reviews. Super glad I did. Friday, out of curiosity, I submitted an online request and Matt called me within 15 minutes. My husband thought he could save us money and do it ourselves. Come Sunday, my husband realized the error in his decision making (thank goodness) and I ended up calling I-Haul. They were able to come pick up our stuff within an hour, on a Sunday! They gave us a great deal and were super friendly. I love supporting local and so happy we used I-Haul. Used I-Haul multiple times for debris removal from a remodel I was doing myself. Guys were great and worth their weight in gold! I had everything set up in the garage and they were in and out in no time. Had no problem with anything I was trying to get rid of. Once everything was loaded they even swept up the garage and driveway. For a person who doesn't have a truck or hauler and you need to have stuff removed this is the best option, great price for loading, hauling, and disposing. We had a quote and scheduled time for the very next day. The crew was prompt and thorough, down to sweeping the driveway before leaving. We called to have them come out to remove a pile of misc junk that has been piling up gradually over the 40 years our grandfather has lived in his house. Scheduling was flexible and they were here within about 10 minutes of the scheduled time. Anthony couldn't have been nicer as well as the other guy (I forgot his name). They got right to work and hauled off a full truck load of junk that would have taken us forever to remove ourselves. No complaints at all about their service. If we ever get around to remodeling again, we'd definitely use iHaul again to help clean up the mess. I wish I knew about them when we were remodeling our last house. It would have been a lot cheaper (and easier) to hire them instead of renting a dumpster from the city. read more

Wow, what can I say about I-Haul that hasn't already been said in the previous 5-star reviews. These guys are absolutely phenomenal at what they do. I didn't have a ton of things to pick up, but what I had was no joke and it included an absurdly heavy and oversized tube TV that was wedged in a space way too small for it. Needless to say, it was no challenge for Mark and Al (I believe) who tackled it with no problem. They were on time and Matt worked with me to get somebody out to the house as soon as possible. Everybody is so personable and willing to go above and beyond. And the prices are nothing short of amazing. You'd be hard pressed to find any junk removal better than I-Haul. So impressed. If you are reading reviews and looking for a company to do hauling for you I will honestly say "look no further'....these guys are great! Our 70 foot fence we share with a neighbor fell down on our side of the yard during a windy and rainy storm and the neighbors bailed out on helping my Mom and I clean up the mess. I was completely at a loss as to what to do about this problem since our neighbors told us that they would be helping with the process and then after a 3 week delay of looking at this eye sore they come over to tell us they are not helping after all. I called I HAUL because of the great reviews they have here on Yelp and spoke with Matt, I explained our situation and he said he could have his guys come out the following day with a big enough truck to take these huge 8 foot sections of fence away for us at a great price. He was completely professional, courteous and kind just like the guys "James" and "Mark" who showed up to do the job. They were both very nice and got started right away, they quickly got rid of all the loose wood first and then started on the large pieces. I was amazed at how fast they worked and when they were finished loading they even helped pick up all the smaller wood debris that was scattered all over the yard! I contacted I haul after seeing outstanding reviews and after contacting multiple junk removal companies. Such as 1800gotjunk and college hunks remove junk and they all quoted me huge ridiculous amounts. We're moving out of our house that we shared with 6 roommates so we accumulated a lot of trash and junk. They worked with me on the phone I had to change the truck size twice and Matt was very helpful and understanding. He scheduled someone the next day promptly. Mark and James showed up and were ready to move all of our crap. They made one trip and were super cool dudes. James even had to deal with multiple disgusting bags ripping and spilling everywhere. They were SO awesome and helpful. Will definitely use their services again. Very reasonably priced. I paid 250 for a huge 8x14 truck and they filled it high.
