The girl with the hair cutting cape did my pedicure and no complaints about her personally, she was really nice. But I felt it was unprofessional for her to do the pedicure with foils in her hair. At the end of the pedicure while I was sitting with the paraffin wax (she said 10 minutes), she went to sit under the dryer with her foils, then with the other employee to wash out her foils AND then the hair dresser blow dryed her hair and they talked about the finished look while I continued to sit there well last ten minutes. The whole experience was extremely unprofessional and I wouldn't go back or recommend to anyone.

But for being a "master stylist", Debbie has messed up my haircut not once, but twice. I gave her the benefit of the doubt but that was a mistake and i hated my hair until it could grow out and mask the issues. Any good stylist should not have that problem. That was 2 months ago. I'm writing this review now because i went to a korean salon and they cut my hair 100x better than what i had before Uneven sides, bad blunt cuts, poor layers that made my hair lay flat, and she seemed to be unsure of doing hairstyles that weren't your typical asian haircut. She'll follow instructions one moment, then ignore a different set of instructions the next this salon is overpriced. I was charged $300 for hair services which i later found out was a scam because other salons do it at $150. you pay 30 for a men trim that only covers your side and back that Debbie rushes through and finishes in 10 minutes. This is ok for fades but just go to a barber for cheaper... any korean hairstyle out there that isn't two block will look off with only your side and back trimmed but the top growing too long If you're not specifically looking for an asian stylist, yes, I could recommend this salon if not for the surplus in costs. But if you have korean/asian hair like me I recommend just going to an actual korean salon.

After finally settling on Creative Nails, I called to book an appointment. They were able to get me in the same day! I came in for my appointment and the place was packed. Lots of ladies getting their nails done. It was a nice change from pandemic times. There were even kids in the nail salon which I always love when little girls come in with their moms. Lily helped me out with my nails and she was so friendly and bubbly. I did ask her about something she said in Vietnamese to the other ladies and she told me what they were saying which is really nice and made me feel very comfortable there. The atmosphere reminded me of a men's barbershop. I asked for sculpted stiletto French gel nails with long length. They turned out beautiful and I have received many compliments on them. She also asks periodically if I like what I see and if there's anything wrong to tell her. I'm a quiet person and I don't usually talk during appointments and Emily didn't pressure me into having a conversation with her. The place is clean and very organized. The other one, when you go to their website, it tells you to message them to book an appointment. So i did that and never received a response. Turns out that was for the best though. Next on the list to try was Virgo. They have a great online booking system. Although, I messed up somehow and instead of booking 3 of us for services at the same time, the system thought I was booking myself for 3 services back to back. Once I realized the error I called the salon and they fixed it for me right away. 2 of us got shellac manicures and my boyfriend got a pedicure. We were all really happy with our services. My manicure was done by Emily and she was wonderfully thorough. I also loved how encouraging she was.
