I'm a perfectionist, so I tend to look for small imperfections. I was pleased to learn that there were no flaws at all. This ended up just not being the case. While there were some weather days to consider this still took just over 3 weeks to complete and was just never done to satisfaction. His guys not only tracked mud all over the house but some of the team seemed great and did an amazing job in certain areas while others couldn't be bothered to even wet a rag to wipe the window tracks. This led to a back and forth with the owner as he believed that the invoice should still be paid even though the team wasn't done. He kept claiming that it didn't seem fair since the team had already done so much work. We responded that the work would be paid once the work was complete. We ended up paying part of the invoice and allowed the team to return to finish said work. Even after discussing the items that needed to be completed, like removing plastic from the windows, and showing them exactly all the spots they missed, they still went around the house barely cleaning. It was at this point they were told to leave and that we would just finish the cleaning ourselves. This service was supposed to leave us with windows that looked new and instead, we're cleaning bugs, debris, and other things from windows that they just skipped. At a 2k price tag, I expected better service and quality of work rather than combative communication and excuses that were aimed at other workers as the blame for why windows that weren't being opened had large chunks of debris still in them and no signs that any ever attempted to clean them. There was even an issue with them tracking mud into the house and up the walls at which point they lied and said that they didn't do it until later admitting they did. They also spilled a can of black paint on the wood floors and claimed they didn't do that either.

I was told about Solar Insulation by a friend last year while I was waiting for my new car to…read morearrive from the factory. I made an appointment with them to have the car tinted. Brandy explained to me how busy they are and how they must make appointments. She was very nice about it and I did appreciate her explanation which helped me to understand the wait. Upon arrival for may appointment I was greeted by Rachel. First, Rachel had me pick out which film I wanted to use for the tint. Of course, the tint was totally legal to what the Tennessee State Law requires. Rachel told me I could have a seat to wait and explained how long it was going to take. The chairs are comfortable. Rachel engaged me in conversation when she could as everyone stays busy. Rachel introduced me to Brandy and then they both went back to work. A couple of minutes later, Andy came in and asked for my fob and immediately pulled the car in and went to work. Once I had the car done, I realized that it was well worth the wait. It was perfect. The factory could not have done better. About 8 months later my car was broken into and the would-be thieves broke the passenger front door window and smashed out the back-passenger door window. Because of the pandemic, they were able to get me in immediately to do the tint on the new windows. I had the same pleasant experience with Brandy, Rachel, and Andy. Once again, they did a superb job on the tint. Fast-forward a month and a half and some more would-be thieves broke into my car smashing the front driver's side window and then the driver's side back door window. After getting the windows replaced, I called Solar Insulation and they put me down to have my windows tinted as soon as they had an opening. A couple of days later they had a cancellation and get me right in to have the tint done. I had the same experience the third time with Rachel, Brandy, and Andy. There is a reason that word on the street and in many reviews, Solar Insulation is known as the best. Their customer service and attention to excellence in their craft is beyond reproach. I will always recommend anyone to go to Solar Insulation for their tinting needs.
