I stopped by for a bubble tea after having dinner across the street at Geneva Crepe Bistro and the tea was ok, although too sweet (even at 50% sweetness) and I found the tapioca to be too mushy. I got a medium Original Milk Tea with Hazelnut Flavouring $4.30 and added tapioca pearls for another $0.50 ($4.80 total). I asked for half sweet and regular ice. I didn't really taste much hazelnut flavour, and it was still really sweet for my tastes (I guess I should have ordered quarter sweet). It didn't have a strong tea flavour either. Fortunately, it wasn't too rich nor too creamy. I didn't get that much tapioca, but I guess it was ok because I found the tapioca too mushy. The place looked clean and service was fine. I've had better bubble tea, but I've also had much worse, so this place is ok. Maybe other flavours are better. Also, I just had bubble tea and didn't try their food or other offerings like shaved ice. I love shaved ice, so might have to return to try that :) read more

It's alright. Went for some shoyu ramen and also had strawberry shaved ice after a grueling exam. The ramen was pretty good, decent portions and solid flavor, no complaints there. Shaved ice left a lot to be desired. Not a lot of flavor, strawberries did not look very fresh and the portion was pretty small for the price ($7 I think?). This place does get pretty busy because it is one of the go-to student spots for some Taiwanese food and bubble tea so do be wary of that. Service was fast and seating was comfortable. Would return to try a few more desserts or when I'm craving bubble tea although I have heard from some friends that they take a long time to make bbt. read more

It's great to see a legitimate bubble tea place in Kingston! They've got the standard spread of flavours and toppings and the staff are always super friendly when I drop by. The boba is pretty good too :) I worry a bit about the location. A bit out of the way for their normal customers - Queen's students/those in the downtown. Hopefully St. Lawrence students/people with cars keep this place going. read more

A new bubble tea joint in Kingston - finally! i-Tea is definitely a step up from Classic's and comparable to GTA bbt. I'd recommend the pearl milk tea, matcha and red bean smoothie or grass jelly milk tea. Soooo yumz If it were closer to Queen's campus, it would probably get 20x the business it is now. TL;DR - best bubble tea in Kingston ITEA is our home away from home. This indie bubble tea joint holds its own against the franchised heavyweights. Even when we're in Toronto, surrounded by the allures of Chatime, Cocos, and even The Alley, we sometimes remember how delicious ITEA is. Our go to is the genmaicha milk tea, since it's rare to find this flavour amongst the mainstream milk tea franchises. They also serve a great jasmine milk tea, it's fragrant and delicious. The only issue for us is specific flavours. The taro milk tea is not good here. It tastes medicinal and fake - it's much better at Chatime if you can find one. Important note: they are light on the sugar. Add 20% to your order. For example, we usually order 30% at chatime, and therefore 50% at ITEA. Cheers! read more

When I moved here from Vancouver, one of the things I missed the most was bubble tea. I regularly visit Itea whenever I crave bubble tea downtown. The drinks are pretty good and match what I'm use to drinking back in Vancouver. The snacks aren't up to par though. read more

This is the BEST THING IN DOWNTOWN KINGSTON (okay i'm biased cause I love love love bubble tea). I was so happy when they moved to downtown! There's so much to say but I'll keep it short I guess - drinks are great, cheap and great, food is yummy (maybe a littleeeee pricey for the meals but snacks are decently priced), and atmosphere is GREAT. It's a great workspace but you have to make sure your laptop is charged because last time I checked there are no wall sockets. I love the little booths though. The giant beer mugs are so awesome (that's a large size for when you dine in). The highlight of my school days in Kingston lol. read more

Great selection of bubble teas and other foods! I was very impressed to see shaved ice though I did not have time to try it. Cute location, I like the decor and though I didn't have enough time sit in and try a lot of the items, I quite enjoyed the roasted bubble tea with pearls! Price was about average for bubble tea. read more

Great boba/bubble/tapioca/pearl tea place! There are a ton of tea and addition items, including tapioca pearls, mini pearls, grass jelly, aloe, etc, and lets you set the sweetness level, too. I tried the full sweetness original flavor signature milk tea with boba and got my boyfriend the roasted milk tea with boba. We both enjoyed our drinks but agree the signature is better, but there is a nice roasted flavor to the other, it just wasn't our favorite. The inside is very cute, clean and tidy and the staff was super friendly. I went at about 3pm on Wednesday so there wasn't any real wait for my tea and it was fresh and flavorful. Getting to this location is a little tricky since it is downtown, but it's worth the trip. This would be an excellent place to grab a tea and light lunch if you've been walking downtown for a while and are a bit peckish. read more

Very legit bubble tea. Definitely recommend the Pearl milk tea. I have had this is China and Taiwan and theirs is comparable. After talking with staff, found out they actually get their tea and some ingredients from Taiwan, which explains why it tastes authentic. A must try if you are a fan of bubble tea. read more

Finally a TO-esque bubble tea place opened in Kingston! I was very excited to try them out! Went to the store right after they opened (a little right after 12:30), so there were few customers, and the wait was short. The place was very clean, with seats available to sit after you received your drink. At the counter were a Rubik's cube and a puzzle sphere of some sort that customers were able to try to solve while waiting in line. On the counter right next to the cashier, there was a sign with things you could ask with your order such as sugar levels and ice/no ice. First time I had their product I ordered Regular plain milk tea with pudding, no ice. However, the cashier misheard or something because I ended up getting a taro flavor- hence only 4 stars. My second visit, I went myself, and same order as above. I got what I ordered! All in all, 10/10 would come visit again. read more

I went here for the first time a last week, and it was good. The menu was a little over whelming but after I was talked thru it I was good. I got some strawberry yogurt drink and it was very good. And I would defiantly recommend it! The girl there was very polite and answered all questions I had, since I had no idea what to order.
