Not…read moreonly was LiveWatch less expensive, I have significantly more usable features and functionality with LiveWatch as opposed to ADT. LiveWatch was extremely easy to setup and they even provided a translator device that allowed me to use the existing sensors from my old system. For any issues that arose, LiveWatch's technical support was easy to contact and spent any time necessary with me to make sure my issue was resolved. Most importantly, LiveWatch's monitoring has been much more responsive than ADT's ever was. We had an alarm go off due to forgetting to close our garage door and LiveWatch notified us almost immediately of a pending alarm. Since we were less than 5 minutes from home we were able to go back, close the door and then reset the alarm. Had this been ADT, we would have been much farther away making it very inconvenient to return home. Since that incident occurred, I added a garage door control to the system, which now allows me to close the door remotely and reset the Alarm remotely via the Alarm.com app making it even more convenient. While I am on the subject, the Alarm.com app on my iPhone and ipad is the real power behind the system. With it, I am not only able to control the alarm system remotely, but I can also control my Thermostat and garage door as well as a wide variety of other home automation products including door locks. I am in the process of adding some additional home automation such as smart switches and outlets and the LiveWatch technical support team has been very helpful with guidance and providing me with information on compatible products. I would highly recommend LiveWatch to anyone looking for a home security system.

The shutoff had a fun sticker on it, and one of the workers (Jordan) and I had talked about it when he first came to look at it. I knew that the shutoff would be disconnected per Jordan, but there was absolutely no reason to remove it and then take it with them. You simply don't take property that isn't yours. I texted Jordan Nov. 27 when I first noticed it missing and he didn't respond. So when the company got around to billing me around Feb. 5, I called and asked them if they'd look for it. When they hadn't responded, I called again on March 2, and made the same request. Still no response. It has been over 90 days and I still can't get an answer from the company. If I had known, I would have taken pictures of the electrical on the wall before as well as after. If you use them, take pictures and ensure that nothing goes missing.

I checked with them about an approximate arrival time and when he told me how busy he was, I told him that we could wait a day or two because we had power and others didnt, and to call me with a new day and time. He never did this but says he showed up at my house at 645 PM and claims to have knocked and rang bell and noone answered so he drove away. Never called us or anything. Our doorbell does not work but does not need to as I have several dogs. Nooone barked- How does that happen?? And why wouldnt you call before driving away? What if someone was in the shower or something, I mean after all, we did not know he was still coming as he never bothered to let us know, even after promising to call before coming over as I told him I am frequently tied up with my disabled son. Anyway, called him today to see when he is coming and he was hostile and told me he was here and on and on and now wont even consider making us an appt until next week?? I am glad that he has so much business that he can behave this way. I know he wont be troubled by us again. If you are looking for manners and good customer service, I would keep looking. I cant speak about his skill as we never had a chance to experience that. Completely unprofessional. I owned my own business for 25 yrs and NEVER would have even considered treating a customer in this manner.
