Went to pick up Imbound from Titlemax lot... at least $100 in Personal Items missing from the car! I don't think it's proper business practice to impound an individuals car. Remove their items from the car to store in staffs personal collection...not to be returned to me upon recovery! I doubt it's standard policy but clearly is standard procedure to procure items for themselves! After paying over $1200 to recover vehicle to have all my accessory chargers and cords. My heavy duty dog leashes. My gas can & other roadside essentials to be recover from my vehicle at my expense and the gain of their employees. I highly dissatisfied with the realization of many missing personal items stolen after settling from the recovering my vehicle! Very disappointed to now have to go out of pocket to replace the things stolen in this process! read more

I don't think I have ever been in an establishment that was extremely unprofessional, like this one. Standing in line for more than an hour to pick up personal belongings out of a vehicle, and the clerk disappears. Doesn't tell anyone where she's going or if we all will be helped still. Other employees look over and see there's a line with no help and no communication with anyone. Other two clerks that are helping others, they're getting people that came in right away, in and out. Come to find out the other clerks that were at the window this whole time were suppose to rotate both lines. But they were just focusing on one line. If they weren't so busy flirting with under age boys, gossiping, eating before lunch break and actually did their job, people in the titlemax line wouldn't have been waiting for up to 2 hours with no communication. Finally, after another patron spoke up and made a scene, that's when the line moved and cleared out the room in less than 15 min. Ridiculous. read more

Our vehicle was in a not-at-fault accident and was towed to this location. I reached out to this facility about their hours for retrieving personal items and was told I would not be able to do so. I just wanted to retrieve personal effects left within the vehicle that were not part of any insurance coverage...but this place treats you as if your vehicle was impounded and you have no rights. Called at 10 in the morning to ask if i could go take a look at my car and asked what time they closed they said at 5 get here just before closing they go and tell me they close at 4:30. I drove 30 minutes thinking they closed at 5 since that's what the person had told me they close just for them to tell me something else. ill list these in order: 1st incident; I had no idea there was a $20 charge to pay at the branch. I had to uber to the bank to get cash after waiting inline for 1hr. 2nd incident; No one said I needed a vest to pickup my car. The fat Mexican lady in the little shack wouldn't let me borrow one from the guy behind me, so I went to a truck driver who graciously let me borrow his and when I went back to the shack she reluctantly called the fork lift driver to bring me my car. 3rd incident: after purchasing 4 newer vehicles, I went into the yard and turned a few of them on. They yelled at me and said I had to leave, requested my buyer, brought me to the front desk, told the clerk im kicked out for the day. What kind of business operates this way? Forget these people, Im a paying customer and Im treated like a piece of $hit. I definitely will not renew my account or buy anything from them again. read more

My license was stolen off my car , When I went to get things from my vehicle they didn't even let ME get my things they brought me a giant box filled with all my personal things. And expect me to pull everything out right there to make sure everything is with me. Like yea lemme pull everything out here in the tiny ass office with all these people in lines waiting. The boyfriend and I had to get some tools and his toolbox from his truck after an accident we had which totaled his truck. The staff behind the counter was very nice and took time to research our individual request. They provided us with orange vest and all the time we needed for the task at hand. As we worked for 2 hours getting his tools and toolbox box from the truck we were also helped by Arthur the security guy. HE WAS AWESOME!! He helped lifting the toolbox and even offered us water in the hot phoenix heat. Thank you all for your help. read more

Purchased an insurance total vehicle through this auction for $10k. I received a CA salvage certificate like you normally get, but when I went to the DMV to register the vehicle they said it had an IRS Stop on the title. After two months of back and forth and trying everything they said I needed to do I cannot register the vehicle and neither the insurance company nor IAA take any responsibility. IAA does not care about you as a customer. Plain and simple. Consider it a gamble if you decide to purchase from them. read more

Our vehicle was towed to them after being totaled, and they were instructed numerous times by my insurance agent to ship all of the possessions in the vehicle to us. They neglected to do so and now are trying to blame their upper management not processing that information And said that it's up to me to contact my insurance company in order to get reimbursed so it sounds like they went shopping of all of the tools and belongings thousands of dollars worth of valuables and are now telling me to go fly a kite they will be hearing from lawyers. If I could rate this establishment a zero, I would. My vehicle was towed to this facility by my auto insurance company for valuation after a collision. I was informed by my representative the address and hours of operation so that I may claim my personal belongings. The staff seemed friendly yet unprofessional. Employees smoking cigarettes around customers seemed the norm. My vehicle was pulled from the storage lot and delivered to a designated area. Upon opening my vehicle, I noticed the contents had been moved and bagged up within 48 hours. I had numerous items of low value missing. Losing a vehicle in a collision is bad, but having individuals loot personal items is salt in the wound. I am furious that several insurance companies utilize this business without oversight. After calling my representative and reporting my lack of findings, I was also informed that my particular insurance company has an agent at the location. I had previously read the reviews and hoped that those were isolated incidents, but learning that I too had become a victim of scavengers has me beside myself. What makes a person feel even more helpless is when asked if I had photos of the items in my vehicle. "Yes, I had time to inventory and catalog all my items while dealing with the aftermath of a serious collision." I am sure I will never see my items, but I pray on everything that is holy, that these insurance companies ditch these wastrels and find more reputable companies to retain for their services. read more

This location here in Phoenix is a sneaky operating business. They lie about their cars. For example, they labeled a car as "run and drive" and primary damage as "other/unknown" . Well after paying for the vehicle in order for them to bring it out of their yard the car had a faulty transmission. So it did not "run and drive" as they claimed. The FTC needs to get involved and regulate these type of operations. Their making money off of unlawful, manipulated tactical lies . What a shame of operations. read more

drove 11 hrs to pick up the Rv which supposed to have light damage, it said run and drive , found out it has missing cats, which I can't drive it because it goes in to limp mode, it was incomplete repair which auction did not mention that, someone tried to make it look like there was less damage to the vehicle, when I tried to tell them they won't even listen and telling me you should have check. and the rv is yours and you are not getting your money back. now driving back for another 11 hrs and have to look for a towing which will cost me $4000 plus cats $3000. read more

I guess it would have been easier to throw $200 out the car window on the interstate. My experience with this company has been terrible. Signed up to buy one car. Went there on an extremely hot day (the only one available) to look at this non-running, totaled car. My contacts in other states usually take their jump packs into the yards when they are dealing with a stationary vehicle and there is a high price tag. The security guard said I was not allowed into the yard with the jump pack. The car I wanted to buy was about to sell for $37,000 and I could not check to see if a jump would start it? It might have had a blown engine. After I returned my jump pack to my car, the security guard once-again wanded me. This time, he insisted that I turn over my car's only keyfob. He then wanded me again, and this time he insisted that I give him my sole house key. I had been waiting 2 months for this car to reach auction and was about to pull the trigger on a large purchase of a non-running car and these creeps wanted to ascertain that nobody could check the car's condition and that paying members, who they had driver's license and other information on, have to go through this demeaning process with a security guard who seemed to be picking someone to discriminate against. As I was leaving, another guy carrying a jump starter was waved right in. I am 70-years old, so I guess I look like someone to harass. Got outbid on the car, so the $200 membership fee was an absolute waste. The demeaning actions of the "guard" were just icing on the cake. Considering the amount of fees they collect when you purchase a vehicle, even one that doesn't run, the treatment of the paying customer should be better. Good riddance to these guys. read more
