    Bought a 2021 ford ranger lariat fx4 from them back in Feb. The salesperson messed my name up on…read moreall the paperwork and had to be told multiple times what he did wrong to get it fixed. When he corrected it, he only corrected it on the DMV paperwork, not the auto loan, warranty, gap insurance, or any other paperwork. I pointed this out to them multiple times and they didn't correct it, resulting in me having to call all those institutions and get it corrected myself. He also did not flag the lifted truck option on the warranty he sold me despite the truck being lifted. They fixed this last part for free without any cost to me, so I guess they get half a point for effort there. Now that we get past the initial paperwork part of where this purchase went wrong, let's get into the mechanical issues with the vehicle. On my test drive, I noticed a burnt rubber smell coming from the left rear of the vehicle that I now know is symptomatic of a leaking rear axle seal. The power train warning light was also on the truck. I reported both of these things to the dealer and they said they would fix it with their partnered shop. They took the truck to the shop and told me they need to replace the wiring harness to correct the power train issue error. After that, they had to send the truck to a local transmission shop for a rebuild of the transmission, and that shop told me that there was an axle seal leaking. I passed that information on to the dealership to see if they would fix that or if I would have to, and they completely blew me off. Because of weeks back and forth where the dealership told me repeatedly that they'd communicated with other parties and then I call those parties and they all state they never heard from the dealership, I decided I no longer trusted that dealer or their mechanics at all and I took the car to a ford dealership. Immediately spotted the seal issue and diagnosed that the transfer case motor wasn't engaging. Swapped the motor and then had to diag that the wiring harness was messed up. I would not recommend buying a car from overstockvehicles or their partner organization valleycargroup. The only positive of this experience was getting them to foot the bill on a transmission rebuild for a vehicle that has known transmission issues.

At the time, I was informed that the vehicle required a motor mount replacement. Despite that issue, I liked the vehicle and left a deposit with the understanding that the repair would be completed before delivery. When I returned on Thursday to pick up the vehicle, I was informed that the repair had not yet been completed, so pickup was rescheduled for Friday. I arrived on Friday at 3:00 PM to complete the paperwork, only to find the Jeep still on the lift being worked on. I expressed that I did not feel comfortable signing paperwork until I had the opportunity to test drive the vehicle again and confirm the repair was completed properly. However, after waiting several hours, I ultimately signed the paperwork around 5:00 PM without being able to conduct a second test drive. Upon leaving the dealership, I immediately noticed several concerns: * The vehicle had almost no fuel. * Only one key fob was provided. * The trunk rubber mat was missing. * There was no washer fluid or power steering fluid. * The engine grounding strap had not been reconnected after the motor mount repair. * There were loose nuts/bolts under the hood. Due to the inconvenience and delay, I was assured that a replacement key fob would be provided at no additional cost. Shortly after driving the vehicle on the highway, I experienced additional issues, including knocking beneath the floorboard, pulling while driving, and shaking at higher speeds. I promptly reported these concerns to the salesman and provided photos of the issues I had identified under the hood. Based on feedback from individuals familiar with vehicle repairs, I suggested the possibility of suspension or tie rod-related issues. The dealership asked me to return the Jeep for inspection and repairs. The vehicle remained with them for approximately 2.5 days. When I picked it up, I was informed that the issue was simply an unbalanced tire. However, the additional concerns I raised were not addressed. Before leaving the dealership, I advised the salesman that the original issues were still present. I was told to "give it 24 hours" and follow up if the problems continued. The issues did continue, resulting in multiple follow-up conversations regarding another repair appointment and the possibility of a loaner vehicle while my Jeep was being serviced again -- only days after purchase. Eventually, the dealership agreed to pick up the vehicle from my workplace, which is approximately four miles away. After the second inspection, I was told the issue had been caused by a loose bolt and that the vehicle should now be operating properly. It has now been more than 30 days since my purchase, and I still have not received the promised replacement key fob or trunk mat. Despite contacting the dealership multiple times each week, communication has been inconsistent and vague, with responses such as "I hope so," "Maybe," or "I'll find out." I was also told on multiple occasions that a technician would contact me to arrange key fob programming at my home or office. However, none of the proposed appointments were ever confirmed, and I was never contacted. Most concerning is the fact that I requested several times for a manager to contact me regarding these ongoing issues, and I have yet to receive any response. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing purchasing experience. The ongoing lack of communication, incomplete repairs, and failure to fulfill commitments have left me with little confidence in the dealership's customer service or professionalism. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership to others.

As a rideshare driver, obtaining financing was extremely challenging. My income structure did not fit traditional employment standards because I did not have standard paycheck stubs, and my deposits from the Uber Pro Card transferred inconsistently into my checking account. On top of that, I was dealing with credit challenges, maxed-out credit lines, negative equity on my previous vehicle, and a Chevy Cruze that would not pass emissions, which prevented me from renewing the registration. Because of that situation, I was stuck paying an expensive weekly rental fee just to continue working. I was completely transparent with the dealership about my financial situation and the difficulties I was facing. I knew going into the process that approval would not be easy. I also understood that if I could get approved for a reliable vehicle, I could finally return the rental, reduce my debt burden, lower my weekly expenses, and create a path toward financial stability instead of continuing toward disaster. The staff at Midway Nissan treated me with dignity and respect throughout the entire process. At no point did they make me feel judged because of my financial situation. Instead, they worked together as a team to problem-solve, communicate clearly, and help explore every possible option available. The environment was warm, welcoming, and professional. Their willingness to go above and beyond exceeded my expectations. They understood that they were not simply selling a vehicle. They were helping someone regain stability and move forward. In today's world, it is rare to find a dealership that combines professionalism, compassion, persistence, and teamwork the way Midway Nissan did during my experience. That being said this is by far the worst car buy experience I've ever had for about 37 different reason, they have dropped the ball more times than I can count and I've had to do a lot of follow up work to just get basic stuff done. They sold me a mechanically broken truck lots of worn suspension parts as well as a TQ converter that went out 1000 miles later, they messed up my paperwork at least 4 times and then made promises they couldn't keep more than once. Oh and to top it off they never filled my registration to the MVD so 6 weeks later I still have no plates and is no longer street legal because it expires tomorrow 10/28/25. I wouldn't recommend this place for a car purchase if it was the last place to buy in the PHX metro area. Please check their FB reviews before buying here! I'd give this place a negative 5 if I could. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Edit.... As of 11/7 I spoke with the owner because he wanted yo try a reconcile the situation, in the process he called me a perfectionist my expectations were to high for a 27k used truck and I was the problem and the outlier out of all of his customers. It was very insulting a rude and a huge waste of time due to him not responding after I sent him the final invoice of the repair bill to get the truck I owed for 1000 miles back on the road. 2nd edit... as of 11/20 he told me I never brought an of these issues up to him and his team and that It was my problem to solve. If you buy a vehicle be prepared to be screwed over the entire time.

I started my car buying Journey with Jose. At first everything was fine but in the middle of waiting to find out if another car was available, Jose left and did not come back. After about an hour and a half, Tiny came to help us out and was wonderful! After purchasing, I was told my car will have a FULL detail done... twice (I requested it multiple times due to the seats being very dirty as well as the center consul). I then waited a week and a half for my vehicle due to Jose continuously telling me that my car was being worked on (A/C was out).. when it was actually not. I reached out to Jose several; times after purchasing to ask about the progress and any updates. I then reached out to Tiny stating that I do NOT want to be working with Jose due to the lack of communication as well as the lying about the details of my car getting fixed. I then go to pick up my car after 10 days.. and my car interior was not detailed AT ALL. There's broken glass in the vents, and under the mats (they so call vacuumed) and well as old food crumbs and spills in the consul. After having to wait that long, I gave up just went to detail it myself. As a first time car buyer, I was super disappointed with not just Jose but AutoNation as a whole. Tiny was the saving grace in this experience but I will never purchase through this company again.

At no point did anyone clearly disclose that sales tax was NOT included. Only after the sale, when we went to register the vehicle in Nevada, were we hit with a large, unexpected tax bill that we had to pay out of pocket. This is not a small oversight -- it's a major lack of transparency and, frankly, feels deceptive. If a dealership is quoting an "out-the-door" price, it is their responsibility to make sure that number is accurate and complete. Failing to disclose something as significant as sales tax is unacceptable. This experience has completely destroyed any trust we had in this dealership.
