Teresa recently photographed my October 2015 wedding at Ambient Studios. She brought along a second shooter named Katie who was also very kind and helpful on the wedding day. Teresa got to the venue early and when I was not prepared to take all of my pictures she took it upon herself to go around the venue and get images of the space and anyone who was already there for the wedding. The pictures were gorgeous and fun and completely represented everything I wanted to capture on my wedding day. Teresa also sent preview pictures the next day and my family is so in love with them they are all over Facebook! Teresa made everything seamless from beginning to end. There were a million things that happened on our wedding day that seemed like magic - we didn't have to stress over one single thing and were able to enjoy our time with family and friends completely, which is so rare for a wedding. (As an example, one of the bridesmaids had a dress malfunction, which was magically handled by the team without us knowing anything about it). She has such a calming presence and was the only planner who really wanted to know what I wanted for my day. It caught me off guard that she wasn't just selling me on her services the whole time like most planners but she genuinely listened. Jacin's ability to empathize and visualize exactly what I was dreaming of was truly a gift. She is not just a planner; she is a talented designer and I can't even go in to the countless personal touches she thought of that perfectly reflected us, as well as our family and friends. Everything was running perfectly and our dream was about to become a reality and then COVID hit. The shutdowns started two weeks before our big day so we obviously had to cancel our wedding. In typical Jacin fashion, she never missed a beat. By the following day, she managed to rebook every vendor and our same venue only four months after our initial date. An impossible feat for a venue that is booked a year in advance! Even up until the last couple of weeks we weren't sure our wedding could be held because COVID cases were going up again. We agonized over it but Jacin continually reassured us and never made us feel bad for having the wedding, even though I'm sure she was uneasy too. It's not easy to understand the turmoil until you have been there, but we could not have gotten through it without Jacin. She thought of so many clever ideas for a COVID-friendly wedding such as colored wrist bands to distinguish guest's comfort level, monogrammed face masks, sanitizing the entire ballroom, etc. and was so patient in answering our guests emails and safety related questions. Jacin made me feel so calm on my wedding day and I never had to worry about a single thing. It was truly the most relaxing, enjoyable, amazing fairytale weekend and our guests felt so loved and taken care of. Also, her team is amazing!! They are all industry pros; most are planners themselves, so no detail was missed. Under the circumstances it was such a perfect escape from the world and we will always be so very grateful to Jacin and her team for really going way above and beyond to make our wedding weekend so perfect. Amanda was the main photographer for this event but she specializes in mostly documentary-style family sessions, newborns in the hospital, etc. She definitely did an amazing job capturing wonderful candid shots of all the guests during the charity event and was super pleasant taking shots in front of the step and repeat area. Even though she's not an even photographer, her photos really displayed all the fun we had supporting a great cause during the UMatter Foundation's first annual gala. If you're looking for a documentary series photographer, family portraits or know anyone that is interested in capturing their newborn on film, I highly recommend Amanda of Crane Creek Photography. I appreciated her kind demeanor, positive energy while shooting at the event she worked at and her blog post featuring her work after the charity event to spread awareness of children suffering from Dyslexia. We were trying to coordinate three different household's schedules. We even had to reschedule a couple of times. She was so gracious. We have nine children, ages 6 months to 11 years old, and we also brought along my in-laws. She was so relaxed and laid back, and she made my kids feel so comfortable. Imagine getting all nine kids still and looking in her direction, and smiling on top of that! My kids left that day saying "When are we going to see Ms. Whitney again?" She was that good! Gloria and her team not only coordinated the chaos of the wedding day, but she scheduled a walk through of the venue before hand with myself and all of the vendors, made sure all of the vendors' needs were met (day-of meals, etc.), and helped set up our pre-wedding party the day before. I also thought her price was extremely fair for the amount of work she did both before, during, and after the wedding. She was on time, professional, funny, fabulous in giving directions and REALLY REALLY TALENTED! After I posted my wedding pics on Facebook, one of my friends was so impressed she used Tina for her wedding six months later. Her pricing is reasonable for her quality of work- almost half of what other high end, stylish photographers quoted me in the Atlanta area.
