I originally set up an appointment for a cleaning and the technician was wonderful and very sweet. When the younger Dr. Brand can in to check my teeth I I was very impressed with his mannerisms, friendliness. I had recently chipped a front tooth and a back tooth broke off the same day my regular dentist retired. (Go figure) I made an appointment with Dr. Brand to repair the chip and properly fix the tooth that had broken. I have to say he was wonderful, and his staff was wonderful! Extremely professional! Great music playing! My front tooth looks perfect! I highly recommend Brand Dental! A very pleasant upbeat caring environment and staff. They honestly care about you and are not all about the money!!

PATIENT BEWARE! Recent new patient visit to Lawrence Dental. Their website offers first…read morecomprehensive oral evaluation, NOT TRUE! They actually billed our Delta Dental insurance for my first visit, D0150 for $131! AND to make matters worse, they lied about having me be able to use my Itex account. For those of you who don't know what Itex is, it's a platform businesses use to barter for services. You can Google 'Itex' as well. So my first visit entailed an evaluation for a tooth extraction. With my Itex account and PRIOR to the visit, Kimberly confirmed that I would be able to use my funds in my Itex account to pay for the extraction since my dental insurance didn't cover it. So I scheduled with them and went over everything with the so-called complimentary evaltions with regard to my extraction I even confirmed again that I would be able to use Itex. They said the extraction would be between $5000 and $6000. A few weeks went by to receive the predetermination. When it was emailed to me, the estimate was $9161! WHAT? Not even close to the $5-6K estimate. Then when I called them to go over it, they then said they were transitioning to a 'new management' (whatever that means since the name Lawrence Dental never changed), and they no longer will be taking Itex as payment under their new management and I would not be able to use my Itex funds to pay for the extraction. I explained to them what they just put me throught, they didn't care at all. So I just wasted all this time and money with Lawrence Dental. They are not to be trusted, they lie, get everything in writing, and never again.

However, Lawrence Dental said the claim was rejected because it was made too late. They had said that the delay was due to a software conversion on their end, so my insurance company had rejected the payment. I just found out from the insurance company that they paid for the visit back in July and they do not understand where the $300 amount is coming from. Now, Lawrence Dental is not picking up the phone. It is well within their business hours and they are not in the office. I just got scammed out of $300. Do not go here.

I was not informed of the changes within the practice that occurred the year prior (after my last cleaning). While I give them kudos for resolving the billing issues, I feel that it would have been a courtesy to provide this information to patients before they encountered a bill. She then went on to say the dentist would basically use it as some sort of "write-off." That explanation made absolutely no sense and felt very questionable.
