On the first day our home went up for sale, frozen rain had laid out a sheet of ice along the driveway and front entryway. Melvin went early in the morning to salt all slippery areas making it safe for the 6 showings he had lined up that first day. Once they found her, she called me to tell me I should never insinuate that she was stealing my money. I told her the money was supposed to be wired first thing the next day (I had an afternoon close and B&W doesn't wire money in the afternoon) and that is wasn't. She never reached out to my attorney or my B&W realtor to say she couldn't locate the wire instructions and needed them again. She couldn't even bother to provide a tracking number so I could verify that she sent the money. I would stay away and go anywhere but here!

Landstar has been a wonderful surprise. My apartment is so nice, and reasonably priced. The laundry room is spotless, they don't charge for the storage units, they shovel and salt the walkways very quickly... and maintenance is always responsive, friendly, and fixes it the first time instead of after the 10th email. I even submitted a ticket for a broken mailbox and they came out and were VERY polite while showing me that I had the key upside down, lol. Omar, specifically, is really an MVP. It's also amazing to have radiators that are quiet - a few were noisy when I moved in, and they fixed each one same or next day. Wow. I love my place and I'm really happy with them! I had to continuously follow up by text, ask for an ETA, and even request to be referred to someone else who could assist me. During this time, I explained that I had recently lost my mother and was trying to secure housing for myself and my daughter. I also explained that I couldn't afford to have another credit inquiry because it could further impact my ability to rent. Despite understanding the urgency, there was no follow-through. I also attempted to contact Landstar Realty Group directly for assistance but did not receive a response. As a customer, I expected someone from the company to step in and help resolve an issue that had been ongoing for days. The lack of communication, repeated broken promises, and failure to provide documents I had already paid for caused unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. Based on my personal experience, I would urge others to use caution and ensure they receive all necessary documentation promptly if working with this agent or company.
