From the person who greeted me at the desk, to the staff who hooked me up to the aphresis machine, everyone was kind and compassionate. I will admit, I am not the best platelet donor. But the staff made sure I was comfortable and had my safety in mind at all times. They have Netflix to help pass the time for people on the aphresis machines. For people donating whole blood, they are done so fast that they don't watch tv.
