I requested a quote for a certain amount of cocktail ice (1 inch cubes) perfect for making craft cocktails on their website and received a reasonable quote quickly via email. I placed the order, satisfied with the quality, quantity and price of my order. Apparently, unless you're doing a very large order, you're not getting delivery as they promote on their website. I even offered to pay for the service and they would not budge. I had to make the trek to pick up my order, and despite it being incredibly inconvenient to access their tiny parking lot off of Adelaide with limited parking, I'm glad I did because this was where communication lines broke down. I arrived, found parking and provided the staff my order reference number, my bags of ice were brought out and as I double checked it, it turns out I was not provided with cubed ice I requested, in fact it was regular ice, ideal for regular drinks but not what I ordered and especially not ideal for making specialty cocktails. I brought this up and the staff informed me that this was what I ordered, I showed her my email confirmation which stated the type of ice clearly and the quoted price, and the woman blankly looked at me and insisted that what they had prepared was what I had ordered and if I wanted the other ice I would need to pay an additional fee -seriously? I insisted repeatedly but in the end had to pay the difference to get what I had originally asked for and had been quoted on... not a great experience IMHO. The ice was great quality and made excellent drinks, but the stressful and misleading customer service experience ruined my opinion of this business.

The mango ribbon running through the mango section was on the sweeter side so the coconut part balanced it out! I actually think I prefer this flavour over Baskin Robbin's signature Mango Tango flavour. P.S. I've been to this plaza before. We were greeted by the waitress and we ordered the bisco fever Belgian waffle. It took a while for the waitress to come back to take our order, I noticed she is the only worker on the floor and was tending to every table so the last couple of times it was the same thing, everything took longer to get the waiter/waitress' attention. One thing I wish is that there is another worker so that it doesn't take so long to order the dessert or get water. This was my favourite Belgian waffle, it had blondes, biscoff sauce that was nice and warm, biscoff cookie crumble with honey vanilla ice cream. Everything worked well together and tasted amazing. I loved the warm and crispiness of the waffle. It was definitely the star dessert at demetres! It was presented nicely with icing sugar and sauce over the waffles. I would most likely order this waffle again next time!

We were debating which one to get, Golden Mango or Matcha Mango Bingsu. The cashier said Golden Mango is giving different texture, even though it's all mango flavor; the Matcha Mango is using matcha shaved ice as base, then top with Mango fresh fruit. So we final decision was the Golden Mango Bingsu. Once we ordered, we got a electric alert board. We won't wait long, the alert board was beeping when our order was ready. I went back to the counter to get my Bingsu. This desert is not big that costs $12.55+tax. Sago has no taste. Fresh mango is on the top, mango base is mango flavored shaded ice, which is like ice cream that smooth. Mango sauce as layer is in the middle of the base, which makes stronger taste. Overall, it's pretty tasty and fresh. That's another type of ice cream for me. The store was open until late night, and I was seeing couples coming in. I understand inflation, but I would think that they wouldn't phase out incentivized promotions, but to each establishment their own. The wait time is horrendous, and the workers all seem to be in their own space and timing for when they want to get things done. Finished tables took forever to be reset.
