Maybe I'm spoiled by the neverias and La Michoacanas in California but why was my mangonada frozen solid with a stick in it? Huge disappointment. We have tried their fresas con crema and that was pretty good. They also have house made potato chips which are tasty too, however, I highly do not recommend the mangonada if it's just going to be a huge popsicle. Service is good, always taken care of quickly. There is limited seating, with napkins on the tables which is appreciated. read more

What a great place to get ice cream, Mexican sodas, desserts, snacks, fruit, and candy! My dad and I were in the mood for ice cream and were lucky enough to stumble upon Neveria Las Mariposas. You can get all kinds of ice cream treats. Lots of them had fruit mixed in with the ice cream. We went for the ice cream. They have some traditional and some very unique flavors as well, such as Nutella. 7 Layer Coconut, Coffee Express, and Gansito, just to name a few. I had the Jack Daniels Chocolate Chip and the Tequila Chip! Both were wonderful with just a hint of JD and tequila flavor. Just right! Jack Daniels Chocolate Chip was my favorite. Nice an creamy, and a different texture than traditional American ice cream. There's seating available both inside and outside. The owners, Elizabeth and Adrianna are super nice. They are sisters. You'll enjoy meeting them when you go there. This is a far better choice for ice cream and cool treats than the chain variety of ice cream places. Please support this independently owned and operated business, especially now when small businesses are trying to get back on their feet again. Parking is easy and plentiful. Las Mariposas pretty much have everything you could want to satisfy a sweet tooth! So far, I have tried the mango cream ice cream and the strawberry cheesecake ice cream Churro, and Gansito. Went in to this store last night excited to try the flavors for the first time There were 3 female employees and one male employee within view of the counter. All were on their phones and didn't look up, even though when we opened the door there was a very loud wind chime on it to indicate to them we were there. The male employee went to take his break and saw us, made eye contact, and did not say anything. After waiting 5 minutes at the counter with no one helping us, we started to walk out of the sore. As we left, all the three female employees looked up from their phones, made eye contact, and didn't not say hello or try to help us. When we left the store, they all came out of the back and stopped looking at their phones like they were ready to work now that we were gone. It was an extremely bizarre experience. Ended up going to baskin Robbins. This was a very disappointing experience and I don't understand why they refused to serve us. This was a very discouraging experience, I dont recommend coming here. read more

The ice cream is perfect. There are other Mexican ice cream shops that try new flavors like tres leches ice cream or mangonada ice cream but this place doesn't. They make traditional ice cream flavors like vanilla, rocky road, and chocolate but it's perfect. You can tell they make ice cream in house because of the flavor. The ice cream isn't overly sweet, it doesn't taste like it melted to a liquid and refroze to a solid again or it's close to becoming ice like I've had at other places. Anyways, I tried my daughters green mint, amazing. My strawberry short ice ice cream hit the spot. I got to try a few bites of other flavors and I do have to say rocky road and Nutella are amandine. The best flavor has to be the coffee ice cream. Wow. Definitely a must return. read more
