Excellent place for Mexican street style bites! This place is located on Colfax, and there is a parking lot right next to it! We did have to wait quite a bit in line while other people ordered and got their items. The items are made as you order, so it does take some time to make. There was only one employee and she was doing the best she could to make all the orders, as she took them. She was patient and kind! Please make sure yall tip her if she's alone - cause she was making it happen!! If you're in a hurry and she's alone, come back later with some patience! The place was cute inside, there are seats in there but I don't think this is good for large groups. Everything was packaged to go which made it easier to take leftovers home. I've been going here since I was a kid. This was my dad's favourite place to take me as a child. The food is amazing and offer many varieties of ice creams, food, and blended items. I've tried many fresas con crema at other places but this one is by far my favourite flavour wise and price for what you get. The lady's working there are always so nice and try to help you as soon as you walk in the door. At times the restaurant can get busy and noisy with family's especially during the summer but don't let that push you away from creating amazing memories with your family well eating amazing Mexican sweets! read more

You might not get what you order if you don't speak Spanish but even so you'll get something delicious! I got a bionico and a Chamoyada de mango (AKA mangonada). The bionico is a fruit parfait made with watermelon, strawberry, cantaloupe and pineapple with yogurt on top and honey. You can get nuts and coconut on top. I wanted both but I think the employee misunderstood me and only put walnuts. That cost around $5.50. The mangonada is freshly blended mango mixed with chamoy sauce served with a tamarind candy straw. They have lots of other foods like hot dogs, burgers, chocolate covered banana Popsicles, takis, ceviche, tacos, etc. The interior has about 5 tables and there's no outdoor seating. I'm unsure of the hours but I think weekdays it closes around 8:30 PM (they didn't list hours at their storefront). I'm definitely going to return here to try their savory options! You guys ... I found the best spot in town! It is sooooo delicious!! I've been here twice and I've already tried everything on the menu! Fruit and Ice cream galore :). Their menu is so extensive it was hard to make up my mind on what to order. The lady at the counter was very patient, she described the desserts of which I had questions with. They sell all kind of fruit and pair it with chamoy, chilli powder or ice cream and their specialty creams. I hadn't eaten all day so I've got my backseat full with a to-go order. I ordered a ham "torta," a green juice which contains spinach and cucumbers and other fruits. Got myself an order of large tostilocos and an "eskamocha". OMGGG this place was BOMBDIGTY good! It was my first time here and I will be sure to come back again! I ordered myself a Magonada or Chamango and it was soo good! They even have the options of getting a large or medium and I opted for a large since it was only a dollar more! They were no kidding about a large one! It was definitely BIG! Living in a dry, arid climate, like Denver, one would think that there would be a lot more venders peddling shaved ice. Not so. With that being the case, I had to go out on a mission to track down the elusive raspado. I had a faint memory of a neveria being located along East Colfax, so I headed east until I found the quaint little ice cream shop in Aurora's downtown. Inside, they have a random assortment of items - from hot dogs to nachos to elotes to ice cream. Oh, nevermind the rest because we were here to try the raspados. They have artificial and natural syrups. We naturally skipped the artificial and chose their natural mango and pina. These sweet syrups come with fruit pulp and are topped off with some sweetened milk (if you'd like). The flavors were wonderful. Cold, refreshing, and plenty of sweet. It's a beautiful thing during a dry, hot Denver summer. My only gripe is that they don't shave the ice finely, which would make the product a lot, lot better. Instead, the ice is coarsely chopped...making it resemble a snow cone rather than shaved ice. Overall, this is a must have for the summer - I am hoping to check out a few other spots serving raspados, so stay tuned. read more

Walked by here and decided to stop for a quick dessert. They had a Samoa ice cream flavor that tasted and had bits of the girl's scout cookie. I like mint chocolate ice cream so I asked if I could do a half/half in a milkshake. The employee agreed to make it for me, and also put on some chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry. The milkshake was delicious and definitely satisfied me. The menu also looks extensive with other sweet goods. It was snowing that day but the milkshake was still very delicious. read more

At first we had no idea what to order, since they have a big variety on their menu. We decided to try their Chamoyada de mango because it was what caught our attention the most. I asked for just a little chill powder on mine, which i thought made it pretty darn perfect. it was very refreshing. I also tried their tequila ice cream, it was very creamy and very good! Not happy. Went here on Friday night looked at the menu and looked at the ice cream. Waited at the ice cream counter to be served and everyone ignored me. In fact they served someone else that walked into the store later. I left disappointed. Went to another ice cream shop further east on colfax on Iola and was served immediately. This was a revelation! The homemade ice cream was incredible: I tried mint Oreo and banana Nutella. A couple bought piña coladas -- smoothies and ice cream in pineapples. Jaws were dropping as the couple walked up the block. Definitely going back. read more
