    a bowl of ice cream

Very cute mom and pop ice cream shop. It's very spacious inside and they have 3 or 4 tables to sit and enjoy the ice cream. The place does seem a bit cluttered behind the counter but don't let that fool you. The place is great! There are many flavors to choose from. I had the chocolate chip cookie dough mixed with cappuccino and my hubby had the cappuccino mixed with hazelnut. Dang! It was amazing! We finished our scoops right to the bottom of the bowl. I happen to be a fan of soft serve mostly, so I was a little let down that they don't serve soft serve, but the ice cream is ice cold yet on the softer side, so I was sold! I should have grabbed some to go for home too hahahah. We will deff be going back. I'd rather give my business to a mom and pop shop anyway instead of a big box place like carvel or baskin Robbins.

This place is the alternative to Sid's for ice-cream.

Hershey's brand. Unimpressive flavor selection but if your in the mood for usual flavors this can suit your fancy.

The spumoni was also delicious and will definitely be added to the next order.

There is no way you could tell it is non-dairy; I gave some to my kids and husband, and they couldn't tell the difference at all. This is the only place where I can get ice cream and not get sick. I am very happy with this location. the store is always clean and the staff is so sweet. Jillian is very attentive, and the owners are wonderful as well. Thank you so much for letting me be the first to try it! I 100% recommend this to anyone; even if you usually prefer regular ice cream, you won't be able to tell the difference. It tastes delicious! ¡Sabe delicioso!

While they don't have 31 flavors like Baskin Robbin's, this is an example of quality over quantity. They had 10 basic flavors, but the novelty is that you can blend in fresh fruit. I ordered vanilla bean ice cream with fresh mangoes blended in. I'm lactose intolerant, so fortunately the vanilla is lactose free. The blended ice cream has bits of mangos inside and really hit the spot in terms of creamy and fruity.

I know they are well known for the ice cream sandwiches, but I just hate having to hold onto that sandwich and struggling to not get my hands all dirty, so I opted for a small size which comes with two scoops. The staff at the counter were so nice allowing the kids in my party try different flavors and giving suggestions. I love a fun and unique ice cream flavor, so I went with Honey Lavender and Lemon Poppy Seed. Both were so incredible! The lavender was not too floral-y and the honey flavor came through very clearly. The lemon was bright but creamy, not sour. The poppy seed added a nice crunchy texture. The ice cream was so smooth and airy, I was surprised I was able to finish both scoops! I'm really pleased to have found a great artisanal ice cream shop on Long Island. I will definitely be by again!

Although there were a lot of flavors listed, there weren't a lot that seemed interesting or appealing to me. I got the large (starts at $8), snow capped (condensed milk - they only drizzle a small amount), with vanilla ice cream on the bottom - half orange and vanilla syrup and other half passion fruit. This ended up being a little over $12! I would give it a 7/10 rating. Both flavors were just OK and I wouldn't get them again. I probably won't go again but it was good for the moment as I was craving something really cold. The service was quick and she was very helpful while being patient. They also have a rewards card where you buy 9 you get 1 free.

They shave a block of ice in a special machine, creating a very delicate , softly formed shaved ice, that is easy to eat, not like Italian ices, that you have to work hard to get out of the container. Lots of syrup flavors that the Server layers in the cup, so the flavor goes through the whole cup. I had black cherry and lemon/ lime, which I chose to layer together , rather than separately. Another person had the orange creamcicle, and someone else had the mango and coconut. All were delicious. The sizes are regular and large. The regular is $6, and it is huge . The large is $9 I think, not sure about that one. We got regular size. There is a children's size that is smaller, but also pretty large . Street parking, but I think there was a parking lot next door. Seating for z4 people total. Inside. I think on warm days, they may have some seating outside on sidewalk. I would def return. Also the server was especially nice and helpful!

It's just as expensive as Dominique Ansel in NYC but without the amazing ingredients and overall quality. The staff seemed nice though, so it pains me to leave this review, but I seriously feel like I got jerked, so I must... Cappuccino - Very bitter, strong to the point of tasting harsh, not enough milk. Peach mousse - Small, fake/artificial tasting peach filling, very unappetizing. Pistachio mousse - One dimensional, heavy thick consistency, fake tasting cheap pistachio flavoring. Sleeping grizzly bear - This was the best one but still not worth anything near the price tag. Vanilla mousse tasted ok, passion fruit center was ok but still tasted rather off putting. The coffee and all desserts except the bear were thrown in the garbage after a few bites. It was just inedible. What a waste of $45.
