This was at 4:00 in the afternoon on July 29 (not exactly a holiday). I asked them to explain and they said their day ends at 3:00. I said, okay, that's one hour if you finished at 4:00. They said, don't give us attitude. Wow. Do not use this company.

We looked at every option in the St Cloud area, and it was not fun. Home Depot sent out some other company to give an estimate, and it was well over $10K. I looked into buying my own furnace from Lowe's, and hiring a handyman to hook it up, which would leave us with no warranty and probably a questionable product. Then I found Gilk in Richmond. I emailed them through their website, and received a reply the very next morning. They asked for pictures of my existing furnace, and then gave me a quote via email for both installing a furnace I purchase on my own, but also for installing a good Rheem furnace of theirs that would suit our needs perfectly. They were SO affordable, I was able to go with their Rheem furnace and have them install it, which included a lengthy warranty, too. This was such a huge relief, and they were out the very next morning and had the job all done by noon. They were great to work with, very professional and accommodating. They saved us. From now on, I will tell anyone I know that needs any HVAC work done to at least check with Gilk. I don't think I've ever written a review before, but I had to because this place was so great to us.

The garbage disposal was installed backwards and was not attached correctly to the sink drain, which obviously caused water to leak which ended up going through my floor and ruining the ceiling below. The connections they made to make the disposal fit backwards, were pulled so tight that it also caused a separate leak in the system! Terrible customer service when dealing with management trying to correct the problems they created. The lack of accountability was unbelievable, they even blamed me for the garbage disposal leaking! Very unprofessional overall. Do not recommend them for anything, ever.
