Waited 1 hour 25 min for food which never came. Then they had the audacity to charge me for said food. That we never got claiming "we are busy and you should expect food to take at least an hour" scammers, charlatans, terrible business practices. DO NOT go here if you can't fry some wings and onion rings in under an hour and a half then don't offer them on the menu. The service is very slow. It was only one sever so it was expected we felt very rushed. The green tea was very good. I ordered the honey bbq chicken wings, I didn't care for them it was very hard n burnt (it's fried chicken wings minus the flour). The fries were fine. But my guest thought their food was okay as well. They don't mind coming back but I don't think I would unless I try something else. The ambiance is an average bar. read more

Staff doesn't care if customers get out of line. A guy got punched in the face, I heard his friend say please don't call the cops let's talk about it because he's on drugs. Then he threatened to hit a girl. Staff just let this continue, did not make those 2 leave. Cops came later. The staff knows who these 2 patrons are, but didn't give the cops their info. read more

Some of the best wings in town. Any spicy option is a great option. Personal favorite that I get every time is the Wet 7 pepper wings, so good man. Loaded potato skins and loaded fries are always a great option, along with the jalapeño poppers (cheddar or cream cheese). Love the bartenders, always have great service when I'm there. First time coming here. I had a great time here and happy I found this place for my future outings to the Cleveland area. Much cheaper and better food than if I were to go to a sit down restaurant that's open late. Staff here was friendly, they have a smoking section outside. This place was really clean. Guests that came in were really friendly folk. Definitely recommend their BLT and their hard ciders featured. Great place to sit back and unwind. read more

Going to give it 4 stars because of the great bartender, fair prices, and fun atmosphere. Wings were hyped up on the reviews. So I went with the wings - Cajun dry rub. Hate to say it, but wings were way overcooked, dry, etc - and I like crispy wings. I'd give this place another try, but can't recommend the wings even though they are highly recommended by others. read more

First time here and last! I walked in and sat down. Bartender cleaned off the area and walked away came back and asked the guy next to me what his order was and he basically told her that I was here first and there was no problem. I said can I get a menu. The bartender ignored me, told me to sit at a back table where someone else can "handle me", she refused to serve me and took the order of someone right next to me after I asked her what was the problem she had a terrible attitude and when I tried to speak with management, other staff look like they did not know who to talk to. I heard good things about this place, but rude bartenders are a NO for me. read more

Came to meet some family. Service was a little slow our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed like they could have used an extra server but she was nice. They have some really good food! We tried a bunch of appetizers. The homemade chips and french onion were really good. Fried pierogis were amazing! So good I want to know where they get them from lol. The jalapeño poppers were really good, get a choice of cheddar or cream cheese. The WINGS are SO good. Perfectly crispy and the hot teriyaki sauce is the best thing ever!! I stopped in here with friends after work one evening. We got a spot out on the covered patio and it was really nice! Warm sunny day but we could still enjoy being outside with shade and a slight breeze coming through. I will say that were a lot of men here and it was slightly uncomfortable that all eyes are on you as you walk through the restaurant to get to the patio. Maybe it's more of a local's hang out or maybe it's been a long time since they last saw a woman. For food I tried a side of pierogies. You get two in an order for $4 and they are deep fried and covered in what seems like that liquid butter you put on your popcorn at the movie theater. Inside you'll see some American? Velveeta? cheese. Comes with onions and sour cream as well. I also tried one of their tacos for $2, they only have ground beef but you can choose mild or hot sauce and deep fried shell or regular shell. Add a $2.50 Modelo and it was a nice cheap greasy bar food dinner. It was pretty steady with patrons while we were there but the bartender was still friendly and did a good job, just had to be patient. All in all a good spot for a drink on the patio and for eating fried pierogies. read more

So I've always driven past this tavern but never thought about stopping in and I honestly don't know why! My husband had the idea of coming here on a weekday to grab some dinner and a beer. They have plenty of specials every day so make sure you check the board behind the bar! Coincidentally, my friends were actually at the bar as well finishing up their mussels, which were on special that day. They highly recommended it to my husband and me, but we were craving burgers and sandwiches. The husband ordered the French onion sandwich and I ordered the Philly cheese steak! When they both came out, it looked like heavens gates opening up! The bread was so soft and hugged the meat so lovingly! We both had a handful of meat in our sandwiches which made every bite enjoyable! They were not shy with the amount of cheese they put on there too!! The sandwiches do not come with a side so we just ordered one side, which I'm glad we did because we were already getting full from the sandwich alone! The service was great and very attentive! She made sure we quenched our thirst for some booze while helping us decide on what to try for being first timers. Would definitely come back here to try something else on the menu! read more

So I've been here a few times before and their wings were awesome. Came today expecting the same quality of wings (since it's $8 for 6 wings- pretty expensive) and they were soo overcooked they were dry and TOO crispy. Service was awful- had to chase down the bartender- even though there was all of 5 people in the bar. She was too busy trying to get out to her smoking "break". Finally got a drink- had to ask for a lime for my G & T, had to ASK for a menu and waited for her to come back for 15 min from her smoke break to ask her if I could order, she couldn't be bothered with the customers, the food was way over priced for a crappy quality. Not coming back. What a disappointment. read more

A great neighborhood bar. They also have a patio when weather permits. Holly is the best bartender here and always smiling. They have cheap drinks during Cavs, Browns and Tribe games. Stopped in for the first time to meet with a co worker, I had a cheddar hot pepper burger with onion rings, let me tell ya it was awesome good. The onion rings were the best I've had perfect! Ice House is home to my favorite chicken wings in the Cleveland area. The "Wet 7 Pepper" is more than words can describe. Highly recommended! Just the right about of spice and not over the top hot. The bartenders working have all been there for several years and are very polite. Aside form the wings they have a large menu and I have never been disappointed in any selection. History

Established in 1997.

The Ice House was born in 1997 on the corner of Brookpark and Tiedeman in what used to be the Anchor Inn. When this tiny building could no longer hold all of our loyal customers, it was time to expand. In 2005 the Ice House moved into the building next door and after a lot of hard work & dedication, a muffler shop was transformed into our location today! A beautiful new patio was renovated in 2013 that stands between our original "little giant" and the Ice House we know today. Customers are able to feel the connection to where the bar started and what it has become. Our story continues to grow everyday so come be a part of it!

Socializing doesn't require shouting, etc. and on top of that, the beer is phenomenal and Vaughn loves to try different styles and frequently rotates beers to keep it fresh. All the bartenders make it an inviting atmosphere as well.

Hopefully that $1.50 goes toward replacing the missing martini glasses. The food was average at best and nothing worth coming back for. Overall, not a place I'd choose to visit again.

Our waitress was nice but it took a while for her to come back and take our order--to the point where we went up a few times to the bar to ask for the waitress. Food was decent, but the most disappointing part was being charged for the large party gratuity, without letting us know. When handed the POS system only the total was shown without the line items. So to our surprise when we got our receipt after paying, we saw that the large party gratuity was applied and that it should have been applied for 18 guests or more. A couple of us didn't realize and tipped 20% on top of the gratuity when honestly, service wasn't that great.
