Boring as hell. Literally nobody was there and they also didn't have toilet paper. Two thumbs down.

Food is really good. Ample portions too. This place is under rated by far. Under new ownership and it is really a nice place. I can't understand why this hidden gem isn't packed. read more

Wings were just good and my wife loved her sandwich. Bar maids were friendly and on point. Regulars were friendly and the place was clean. Smaller menu not a ton of choices but I suppose you don't need a lot when it's done right. read more

Checked out Sand Trap last night. I just want to give a shout out to the chef, Jason. His pizzas are made with homemade crust and homemade sauce. They taste great while your at the bar listening to music having a few drinks but even better the next day for lunch. read more

Welcome back SandTrap. Great atmosphere food is fantastic. (My go to is the burgers and of course the tater tots). Lots of drink choices.

We decided to try the sand trap because it had good reviews and it was close to home. As we walked into the bar for the first time, we were looking forward to trying something new. No greeting. There was nobody at the front, so we just sat at an empty table (everyone was sitting at the bar). We sat there for a couple of minutes before a bartender came over and asked us what we wanted with an attitude and negative tone. Since we didn't have a menu, we didn't know anything to order. We ordered drinks and asked for a menu. The bartender /waitress just seemed like she hated all of the customers and didn't want to be there. I know it's tough times, but we you could at least smile and seem like you want to help customers. We were a chore to her. The atmosphere was uninviting and we felt forgotten. Don't waste your time coming here if you want a good experience, or any good service at all. read more

First of all, the waitress, who was very very sweet, didn't wear a mask, which I thought was a health department requirement. My pizza was very burnt and not good at all. My husband liked his sandwich, so that's a plus. Again, the server was very sweet, I just wish Fox News wasn't on all of the TVs and she was wearing a mask. read more

I went to Sand Trap Grill for the first time on a Friday. Great atmosphere and very clean. There was a band playing classic rock which, was awesome. Drinks were very cheap and the food was good and also cheap. Staff was very sweet and accommodating! Highly recommend for casual Friday fun. read more

The service here is terrible. We were here for over an hour and only saw our server once. She attentively waited on the tables surrounding us every 5 minutes. We noticed we were the youngest group in the bar and chalked it up to age discrimination. If you're under the age of 45 don't waste your time here. read more

I have been to this location at least once with each new owner (it was our hangout when it was the Den!), but now I have reason to start coming back again! It's a really cozy little bar, but it's clean and has a great area for playing pool. Our waitress, Theresa, told us she was new, but she was great at handling our big, boisterous party. We never had to wait long for refills or for anything else we needed. The food is better than your average bar food... We got the tater tots (which were delish!) and I had the buffalo chicken sliders. The bread that they were on was incredible! It was some kind of Asiago bun that was so fresh, soft, and flavorful that anything on it would have been perfect. The chicken was very spicy, so people who don't deal with spice beware! I love spice though so it was great for me. The only real complaint I have is that the drinks seemed very weakly made... We all noticed how very red the vodka and cranberry seemed, so perhaps stick with beer or wine if you're looking for a little bit of "happy juice!" read more

First and last time for me! I went in planning to eat dinner, have drinks with a friend, and watch a blues jam. We sat at a table in front of the bar from 6:50 till 7:45. Never got any help and were totally ignored. I finally asked the bartender for menus. Still no service, it was if we were invisible. I was in town from Texas to visit family and friends, and this was something I never experienced in my life! We left and went elsewhere, got treated well at the next place. Came for a going away party. Service was good, place is clean. Wings and pizza were good. Wings are meaty! We'll be back.

Atmosphere is pretty relaxed like any normal bar, it's an Ohio State bar so when big games are on expect it to be packed. Beer selection is pretty decent for being a little bar, they offer all of your Basil's but their craft beer selection is decent, they offer Stone IPA so I love that! The food is really good, I've personally had a burger and wings and both have been fantastic. It's a nice little bar. read more

Food was great. I had mussels (fantastic sauce) and an early birdie burger. My mom had the chicken salad and said it was great. My dad had calamari which he wasnt crazy over, but everything else and the service was so good so I gave 5 stars. read more

No stars from me. My friend and her family and my family went to watch the game on Sunday. We decided to give this place another chance after a horrible experience we had here earlier in the year. We had a good time but this place definitely does not cater to the customer. Will not be returning!!! Tonight they turned off the Dallas Minnesota football game in the 4th quarter and put PBS on the television. This place is screwed up.

Hidden gem!!!! The mussels rival most of the best. The seafood plate will sure to be a favorite. Highly recommend the soon to be added Bourbon Seafood pizza to the menu. Laid back atmosphere and phenomenal service. No watered down cocktails here. read more

TRIED to eat dinner. We sat at a table for 15 minutes before finding seats at the bar. We were pretty much ignored and passed over for another 15 minutes before leaving. And the place only had 15-20 customers! We never saw any food come out of the kitchen, so food service must be really slow. I have seen good food reviews for this place, but they really need to wait on other people besides their regulars. read more
