Avoid this company like the plague. Especially when they are paired with Barbizon. My daughter went to one of their "talent searches" in Indianapolis. She passed the audition and we signed her up for what was supposed to be 64 hours of modeling and acting classes, a professional photoshoot and entry in their showcase that we were promised would be in Indianapolis in the fall. The cost for this was a $695 registration fee and a total cost of around $2200. The whole time they were very slow with any communication; most of the time it would go more than a month between emails and the classes were held very sporadically. Most of the time they would only give us a day or 2 notice of a class being held. Even though they said they wanted to rush the girls through the classes to get them signed right away, it took from May until August for them to hold the 4 modeling classes. We were then told they would have 4 acting classes with a "recognizable Hollywood actor". We didn't hear anything for 7 weeks, they then held one of the 4 classes with an unknown teacher and then we never heard from them again. So from what we were promised, they held 40 of the 64 hours of classes, never had the photoshoot and didn't have the Showcase. I tried repeatedly to get them to make good on the contract and I received an email from one lady saying she thought they were finished and that the head of the agency would call, which of course, she never did. I finally got hold of her the week before Thanksgiving and she asked me to send her an email. I did, but she has never responded. The only things they ever did well was collect the money and lie to us. Although I am not litigious, we are now in process of filing a breach of contract lawsuit against them. I am in the midst of bringing action against ice management. I attended An audition with my son Connor in Nov 2019. The presentation started with the possibility of being selected for a showcase convention In LA ON Dec 15 - 19. The waiting period before the audition started Was a long time and finally the room was open. It was demonstrated as needing new faces for the upcoming LA trip for bringing exposure to the aspiring model or actor. My son Connor has done work with many great photographers in New York City and there is always positive reinforcement Given. With just a little work being signed with some of the top agencies is something we here often. We attended this audition that based the full day on the LA convention and what it entailed. Sounded like an amazing thing and my 15-year-old son had nothing but excitement walking out the door in hopes that when we returned back the next day He would be excepted. Connor was excepted and then came what seem too good to be true. We sat down with a woman Konnie that explained prices details hotel costs etc. Then came The unexpected. There was no Information besides recommending workshops in your local area to prep the model. We sat down at the table and a workshop was offered close to $1800 that was imperative and a must in order to attend the LA showcase. Having to make Such a decision under the pressure you were given no time to think about it The decision had to be made right then in order to attend the La showcase in Dec. So here we are going back and fourth two days in a row which was an entire weekend hearing about this fabulous showcase and giving High Hopes to my son that New York City top agents will have no thoughts about signing him because he has the work they need. Although promises are not able to be given my son Connor was given extreme hopes that led to pure excitement. As a mother and a son that loves being behind the camera I will go above and beyond to fill his dreams. A showcase sounds great paying $1800 for workshops not so great but the pros and cons didn't matter we were going to attend the showcase no matter what. After paying in full we were advised that Connor was going to receive online coaches because the workshops didn't have The higher end quality they wanted for him. We were told after 48 hours workshops Would start the process to prepare for the LA trip. Almost a week passed going into the second week brought us to December 1. In the interim we received an email from a woman that also promised we'd be getting a call from the Canada online coach in the next day but only found out When emailing her back the emails were no longer active and the only response we got was The email that we sent - return to sender. A promised showcase is now in two weeks and plane tickets are raising by the day. No information regarding any workshop or any LA showcase or a contact phone number for anybody Of ice management besides Konnie. I contact Connie with a series of questions and explanations but not one was answered as promised. The unprofessional response was the exact sign and I needed to know this is a complete scam. I contacted her A few times as well as asking for a phone call to discuss a refund. The messages I have saved And will be a part of an investigation that I will be pursuing. From my own reassurance I do my own research with the information that I was given regarding the showcase with the time days and hotel stay there was nothing that I could find. I made a few phone calls but they gathered information I researched there was no showcase where New York City top agencies would be attending. My son Connor got the OK from school for educational trip and had his heart set with excitement. This experience gave my son a fear-based Outlook to other auditions and afraid to be let down by scams. I extended this information to Connie and none of this mattered and at this point it's endangering the welfare of children. So needless to say $1800 was charged a false promise I will showcase and false promises of the best online coaches for my son. I have contacted numerous people with any number I could find relating to ice management and I cannot get a human voice on any given day. The CEO supposedly of the company was given my concerns and just ignored. I am filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contacting the media. I saw mixed reviews prior to the audition but I figured I would give the benefit of the doubt. This agency should not it will not be operating as they are stealing from families trying if I feel their children's dreams and the disrespect that is received on top of committing fraud is a disgrace. Do not affiliate yourself with this company.
