If you earn £1 you have to spend £10 to redeem it so thought it's not that great afterall. The service here is quite slow, tend to only have one til open until the queue reaches the back of the store. I do find alot of the cabinets are quite empty at times. Although an overall clean store with some brilliant bargains. Staff are very helpful.. thats why mum's go to Iceland!

Waitrose's slogan is good food, honestly priced, and for me, this was like when Prince Charles said that food was too cheap. Don't get me wrong, it's not that they stock expensive food at expensive prices, I've never yet seen Beluga Cavier at £10 a pound, but it's that they stock products that I can get at other super-markets for cheaper, especially with the age of internet shopping on us. The staff are always very helpful though, and the shop has a very relaxed atmosphere about it for a super-market, and you don't feel stressed to the point you just want to charge around the store and get out. Because of it's size, Waitrose offers an excellent range of food, drink, media, and much more, and they're always fully stocked, even with their special offers and promotions.

I wandered around for a bit wondering what to by that would give me a good return on the 'change for a tenner' front and opted for some generic organic smoothie thing. When I asked the till lady for my change in pound coins she sighed, gave me a right nasty look and reluctantly counted out the change, one coin at a time. Even though I was super polite and friendly and cheery and all 'I'm sorry to be a pain, thank you very much please thank you'. Ah well. I could not smell anything funny. Their display is very neat and well presented. They sell some oriental crafts too. Japanese food sections are pretty well. Staff are friendly and very polite. It is handy as this shop is very near the station too.
