if I could give this company "0" stars I would. I purchased the XLrg printer and have only been able to use it one time. Customer service is no help. They keep saying that the print head is clogged, but can't explain to me why it would be after only one use. The representatives can barely walk you through fixing anything and that's if they try. I'm so sorry that I trusted this company. It wouldn't let me comment on the response that I received. So to be clear. The printer did not set around without being used. I explained to both reps that I had done nozzle checks, regular cleaning, deep cleaning, and put the water on the sponges like they had me do. I have also used the cleaning supplies that I had purchased before from your site. And yes it still came with cleaner. I work full time and I'm not normally off in time to call in to get a rep. I just so happen to be able to call in early today. In fact I called 3x. Your first rep said besides sending me some emails there was nothing that she could do for me. That's why I asked her for a manager and she tried to tell me that nobody could talk to me. She wanted me off the phone. read more

I own a commercial bakery in Florida, and have used various printing methods specific to logo cookies. I cannot say enough about this company and their help in solving issues quickly, their customer service, and the results of the printed image are just WOW. I have customers with Black and Red logos, and the images in the past have been subpar, blurry, or faded. I am actually reprinting a few orders with the Blue Printer just to resend to customers. The images with the Big Blue are so CRISP and sharp, and the pigment is perfect. The training is also great, and the software is easy to use. My only regret is that I saw this printer a couple of years ago at a show, opted for another printer, and wish I had jumped on the Blue Printer train then. Tech support doesn't take the place of good customer service. It's not always the customer's fault ie. "user error" when the printer is not performing to expectations. Their web based software is not very user friendly or browser friendly. Print settings have to be readjusted just about every print job depending on which web browser you use (Firefox/Chrome) It's has been struggle since I've owned the printer to get the printer to print on their precut circles. I decided not to suffer too long trying to figure it out, so I called Icing Images for help. Ashlee answered the phone. The help she gave was immediate and accurate. I have had a relationship with Icing Images since I purchased my first printer six years ago. They have been extremely helpful when I run into issues with my printer. The ladies have gotten me out of so many binds. They are always professional and patient when I am calling in a panic. This particular review is because of the assistance I received yesterday when I decided to print a customer image for a cake due the next day. I went thru my regular routine that I do prior to printing and attempted to run a nozzle check. Long story short I got an error message that I have never seen. I called and got Ashley on the telephone. She gave me two things to do and see if it resolved the problem. Yay! it worked, however I then encountered another issue. I called back and got Stephanie. I explained the issue and Stephanie gave me several suggestions on what to do that should resolve the issue. She even emailed me step by step instructions and an illustration to help. I ordered wafer paper and the ink from your site and received them so very fast I was very impressed. You can send these guys a photo or other image and they print it with edible ink onto a sheet of icing. You peel it off its paper backing and place it on an iced cake. It totally melts in and looks fantastic. So cool! We're using this to decorate our groom's cake for our wedging. We tried another company first, and it was like eating paper on top of our cake. I recently purchased an edible image printer for $500 and unfortunately it's buyer beware. Edible printers require a LOT of maintenance and can be very temperamental. Plus they only give you a 30 DAY warrenty on the print head. Very expensive to maintain. Not worth the money. Get your images printed elsewhere, it's cheaper in the long run. read more

Purchased a edible printer, went to use it for the first time, did not work, call the company for tech support, they said they offered it, no one available, so left a message, got a call back two days later, in the mean time called the manufacturer of the printer and it was determined that the device had defective software, told this to Icing Images and they could care less, did not want to know anything, till I told them I wanted the inks and icing sheets replaced that had been used to diagnose the printer problem, the owner told me they were not going to replace any products, because it was not there fault the printer was defective, and now the printer has begun to fall apart, the owner is a nasty horrible person, this company does not stand by its products and does not offer tech support, if I could give less than one star I would, stay away from this company. read more

I went to print some edibles on a Friday for a Sunday project and realized I was out of black ink... It was now 4pm and I was in a jam as you can't just go into Staples to get the edible ink you need. The cutoff for overnight shipping is 4pm. This review is for the companies customer service. I purchased a printer back in summer 2016 and became a customer of this company for their ink. I don't use the printer very often and finally had to replace the black ink. When I called I just inquired about the black and wound up buying 2 bottles for $26. A month and a half later I realized I need the remaining colors so called back to order. I was told refills are $13 each therefore the 3 additional colors would cost me $39. Therefore both orders will have cost me $65. My issue started when during my conversation the woman asked me if I needed the entire set (3 colors and 2 blacks for $55) rather than just the 3 refills. I then realized that I was now spending $65 on something that should have cost me $55. I asked if they could just tack on the 3 additional colored refills to the 2 black I just recently purchased for a customer Savings of $10 and the company/management would not agree to it, said that it was too long between now and my last order. They could clearly see that I am a "new" customer and was unfamiliar with the options. I also told them I wished the customer service rep I spoke to when I last called would have explained this to me and the response was that their customers would get angry if customer service always questioned the customer. Very bad customer service in my book. Instead of doing the right thing they created an angry customer uncertain of using them again. read more

If there was 0 Star option I would give them a big fat 0. This is the worst company to deal with. First of all, if you're in the market for an edible Sugar printer - DO NOT BUY IT FROM ICING IMAGES. Their products are not Brand New, their customer service is beyond HORRIBLE and Debbie is a professional liar. I had purchased a printer from them with some sugar paper supplies and paid about $1000 for it. The printer did not work since day one, It would not align right, it would not pick up the blue ink, and it would print half the image with all weird colors and NEVER with the blue ink. MY IT guy and I called them few days after receiving the printer asking them to help us resolve this issue. They were not able to and asked us to do a nozzle check. We did the nozzle check 100's of times, it would still not recognize the blue ink at all. After many unsuccessful tries to fix the manufacture defected printer I called them asking them to send me a replacement as it's not working. It took forever to get hold of them and finally to speak with someone. After going through a loop and speaking with a lady who claimed to be the owner and many back and forth phone discussions she finally agreed that she will send me a new printer, send me a pre- paid return label to send her the not properly working printer back to her. she never kept her verbal promise. I called them hundreds of time, but who cares. They NEVER pick up the phone nor return calls back. Tired from their 0 customer service I called my credit card to handle the situation and sent them the printer back. Now this shameless so called Debbie lady sent me an email that she's going to send me the same printer back and that nothing is wrong with their printer. Nothing is wrong? I'm attaching pictures here for you to be the judge. BEWARE, Do not buy ANYTHING from them. I want they say they have extremely poor customer service but the thing is they have NO customer service skills nor are they EVER available for West Coast (giving the benefit of doubt that they cater better to the East Coast) But regardless their products are terrible. The sugar sheets - DRY and expired. I have lost so much business because of them and I will not let it go like she assumes I would. I will be writing a long blog about Debbie, her mickey mouse business and service and will not accept anything but FULL refund as at this point I don't want to ever have to speak with her nor give them my business. She is extremely RUDE with BAD BAD BAD Products. If you need a edible sugar sheets or a printer DON'T BUY it from icing images. I ordered an image for my baby shower cake, paid the ridiculous $30 extra dollars to get it shipped 2 day Fed Ex just to be sure I got it well before my baby shower. Was supposed to be here on the 11th. Nothing. I emailed them, she basically told me she can resend-free of charge of course or wait to see what Fed Ex would say. This was on the 13th. She didn't offer to overnight it or really do anything at all. My baby shower is the 15th. The cake was made based on this image. The lady called me on the 13th, left a message and said she would check back Monday. My baby shower is Sunday. Monday is too late. As I write this, I have not received anything from this company. My cake is ruined. Not one time did Denise offer to refund my money. I email them with no response. Call their office. No response. Her last message said have a good weekend. Really?
