Orca was NOT the cheapest option nor the most expensive option, they ended up being middle of the road. I decided to go with them because Chris was VERY THOROUGH and explained EVERYTHING to me. The crew came out and knocked it out of the park, literally took them 2.5 days and it was done. This was back in June 2025, we are currently in the heart of winter and have had some serious rainy days and EVERYTHING's been GREAT, NO LEAKS, NO ISSUES! Fast forward to February 2026, I was so impressed by their service and workmanship I called them when the roof at my own house started to leak. (The leak was NOT because of age but the shotty workmanship from our builder Connor Homes.) I spoke to Chris again and he set me up with Peter. Peter and crew came out and temporarily covered my roof until they are able to get me in the books. Peter and crew came back in about a week and took care of my roof. The entire process took about 2 days and literally 3 days after they were done we had a crazy rain storm. Once again, NO LEAKS, NO ISSUES. Orca Roofing is 2 for 2 with me, priced right and took care of my roof issues. There are not too many trustworthy businesses these days but I can honestly vouch for these guys. Thank you for taking care of my roof issues and now I can actually sleep at night.

They were affordable, knowledgeable, and very willing to work with my needs and my budget. They were able to obtain the permits that were needed which is an important and valuable service. They also took care of the structural engineering that was needed to make sure that we had sufficient support for the deck. Their showroom is very helpful. There are samples and some mockups of decks, railings, lighting, etc. There are lots of options and the staff was great about explaining the options but not pressure-upselling. I felt comfortable choosing the materials and extras with their help. After the project was finished, there was one support post that didn't look finished to me when I looked at it from our dining room window. All Decks was great about coming out. After seeing and understanding what I wanted to upgrade, they were able to install a matching trim piece that made the post look complete. The deck has been installed now since Oct 2024. It still looks great and I couldn't be happier.

To name some specifics on what went wrong: -damaged my table and took over 4 weeks to repair -big delay on the project (3-4 weeks late on a 5 week project) -Sean said he'd be at my place to accept a delivery and did not show up, so I had to rush there during the work day -Left my sofa outside which partially got wet from the rain -Blamed me for the kitchen not fitting the microwave and refrigerator correctly even though the links I sent him for the appliances described the depth needed for the appliances. Microwave and fridge still do not look great -took months to get a receipt -Poor communication (Had to communicate with a few different people rather than just Sean and it was oftentimes a delayed response) The project was completed and within budget, but cannot give higher than a 2 star review for the reasons above. I would not recommend BZR remodeling.

When Alex arrived, he immediately commented how nice our house is and had ideas to go with the siding that we were looking to replace. His team were respectful and considerate of our needs: as we sometimes work from home, there was a time that we had to ask them to pause some construction while we were on work calls. Alex made some siding suggestions that we never thought about and are very happy with his ideas. He also suggested a change with our front porch lighting and soffit and WOW, we love it. Regarding cost, GAB Construction were very reasonable, and the little additions that they did were well worth it! Timeline: Alex said it would approximately take a week and a half to two weeks, weather permitting, and he was spot on. Highly recommend Alex and team (GAB Construction)! Pricing was very competitive. Alex and his crew did a fantastic job installing my deck stairs and porch, they are beautifully done and very sturdy. Far better than what we had before. They were there within 2 days of hire and completed the work within 2 days. We told them not to paint but Alex threw in paint for just the cost of materials, which was nice. Although, I wish I had some say on the color since they didn't ask beforehand and I would have loved a natural stain instead. The crew was very kind, they'd even bring my packages into the garage for me and make sure to close the garage door when they were done. The work is sturdy, done right, and I feel confident will last. My only point of advice is to just be more mindful of the garden. I had just purchased and planted 6 new plants and had a succulent ground cover I had been working to grow out for years. It was all so trampled I thought maybe they had dug it out at first. It would have been nice to get warning so I could dig it up myself (since it was fresh planted) or for them to step around it. Luke handled all of the planning and signoff with the architect and city on the deck design. He helped make sure the design would actually look really good when built, and when issues emerged with the city's requirements for the permit, he worked diligently to get it all resolved. Luke also went boulder, paver, and plant shopping with us. He made sure what we picked would actually work, and once we picked something out, he made it happen. Luke handled so many of the planning and logistical details for us, was super communicative throughout the process, and gave us lots of ideas to address challenges we were facing in our original space. He was a great listener and continually adjusted the plan to make sure the design fit our aesthetic and functional goals. His team also took such great care of our space.
