They have your classics, as well as specialty donuts. They have a special everyday such as "Turnover Tuesday", which I think is neat! The worker told me all about the variety of donuts, and told me about other donut varieties, which they've done in the past. The fritter which I had is hands down the best fritter ever! Perfectly crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. The old fashioned is THICK. The "Java Nut" is filled with the Holland Creme. The first morning's donut was consumed on the way to Iowa City, while the 2nd one was saved for the airplane flying out of Cedar Rapids. I found their coffee to be pretty good too. Michelle, the owner, was very polite and welcoming. I've been to Daylight Donuts for a breakfast party before and it was such a great time. Daylight Donuts have been catered to events I've attended and their donuts are always a bit hit. The shop is full of mini Polaroid pictures on the walls that many patrons have taken and posted. Some of the staff were just entering the store and preparing the boba as I was leaving around 9 am. And that's completely reasonable since most boba places aren't open until noon.
