Beautiful environment, wonderful customer service! I had emsculpt muscle building treatments done…read moreat this office and I love my results. Take a look at the photo of my before and after it just four weeks apart, I also had lipo mino injections done once a week to help boost my metabolism during the emsculpt treatment!

I truly never leave businesses a Google review but this information HAS to be shared…read more I wrote an email to Tristen, owner of True Medical Aesthetics, to express my deep disappointment regarding the recent Botox treatments my sister, Tammie, and I received. I sent her an email three times and she still has yet to respond to me. I get it, she simply does not want to address the issue because she believes there is no issue. My sister and I went to True Medical Aesthetics because the business came highly recommended by my immediate family members and a few friends. They have all had a variety of injections and services done there. Two weeks before a special event my sister and I decided to book a botox appointment. At that appointment Allison, our injector, happily answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns since it was my first ever botox appointment. She said that the typical number of units most people receive on their forehead lines and elevens to ensure a great result was 64. Tammie received 56 units and I received 48 (that's what she said we needed.) Well, after patiently waiting the "two weeks for results to kick in" it was clear that we weren't going to have any results. Our foreheads looked exactly the same. Frustrated, we requested a follow-up appointment with Tristen. This appointment took place four weeks after our first appointment with Allison. You would think by four weeks we would have some sort of change, right? No. At the start of the appointment Tristen pulled up my sisters before photos to compare them to her face and that's when the excuses and gaslighting started. During our follow-up appointment, Tristen specifically dismissed our concerns, claiming the Botox had WORKED for Tammie because her forehead was "softer," and suggesting she just needed "more." This response was upsetting and felt like extreme gaslighting, as Tammie's lack of results are VERY CLEAR. Tammie spent nearly $1,000 on her treatment but experienced no noticeable results. I've attached a photo below for you to see for yourself. Can you even tell me which one is the "before" photo out of the two? If you truly believe her Botox worked that is very concerning. When I sat in the chair for Tristen to review my results she said that I'm "part of the 1% of people botox doesn't work on" and that I should try Dysport. To which I replied I didn't want anything else injected into my face at her business. (For some reason Allison forgot to take a before photo of me so I have nothing to attach here.) She also went on to say that because I'm receiving chemotherapy treatment that the botox had kicked in and metabolized in the 4 weeks since my first appointment. I've never had botox before this but I would think that it lasts more than 2-4 weeks???? We left the appointment with Tristen taking absolutely no accountability in our lack of results. So, we sought out other professional opinions from two different medical spas, both of which confirmed that the Botox we received was SIGNIFICANTLY DILUTED!! It is crucial to note that both professionals agreed that under normal circumstances, Tammie's injections should have yielded effective results, contrary to Tristen's claim. In addition to that, both professionals agreed that my ongoing chemotherapy treatment did not affect the efficacy of the Botox administered to me. I even brought up this situation to my oncologist, who used to be a botox injector herself, and she agreed. Given the results I kindly requested a full refund for both Tammie's and I's botox treatments. The request reflects our dissatisfaction with the services provided and the discrepancy between what we paid for and what was delivered. Did we get refunded? Nope. Did we even get a reply back? Nope. Will we ever go to True Medical Aesthetics again? Noooope. And P.S., They also had a coupon on their website that said 20% OFF a service for new clients, which we we're planning to use at checkout, that they did not allow us to redeem. Apparently getting botox isn't a "service"??? Should probably add a disclaimer about that then!?
