Diamond Mow Masters was willing and available to come out within a couple of hours to provide an estimate as well as begin work. for what it's worth, this is the friday before memorial day. the man that came out is "Jamie". Jamie mowed both my front and rear lawns, edged, got the grass coming through my cracked driveway, and cleaned up with a blower. he left no clumps on either lawn and was overall thorough with all of the service he provided. i feel that the lawn care provided along with what was charged was a great value. I contracted with him to mow , edge, and to do basic weeding in the flower beds in front, and disclosed to him that if he worked out, I would consider hiring him as my lawn care company. I'm sorry to say that he was late for the initial meeting, and then again for the work. Not only that, when he arrive 30 minutes late and called me to meet him outside, he kept me waiting again as he talked on the phone. Tyreese said he charged $45/hr to mow, which I said was high, but he said it also included basic weeding and edging. However, after mowing, he said he had to come back later to complete the job because his equipment needed charging, although he had it charging on my front porch? He promised to return later that afternoon to weed, and also said he needed payment to purchase supplies. I paid him the $45, but the bottom line is he did not return to finish. When I called, he promised to be there in 30-45 minutes, but never showed--that was five days ago. I cannot in good conscious recommend him to anyone. He was unreliable and frankly, dishonest. I'm in a new construction home and I hired them in the summer of 2025 to do some landscaping. Because of that, and for ease of coordinating the job, my builder hired them to install the irrigation and sod which was part of the purchase agreement. I gave Superior a deposit of $2,330.00 towards my landscaping part of the job. The job was scheduled to start on 10/15/25 but didn't show up and kept giving me and the builder nonsensical excuses. Come 11/5/25 with the season and window to get the job done quickly closing, the builder decided to hire another contractor and got the irrigation and sod installed having no problem with grading or weather (Superiors excuses). The landscaping that I hired them to do however, is still not done and it is now 5/17/26. Since I am so very disappointed in their lack of service, horrible communication skills, unreliability and disrespect, and not to mention, I want my house landscaped, I have tried to cancel the job with them and asked for my deposit back so I can hire someone else more reliable. However, they told me that they do not issue refunds no matter the issue. I then spoke to Paul on 3/23/26 about doing enough of the job to account for my deposit, he said he would look at his schedule for a good time to meet and talk and would call me back the next day. No surprise, it was over 5 weeks later (4/30) before I was able to get a hold of him again. He came over the next day (a Friday) and said he would get back to me early the next week. Again, no surprise, that was 17 days ago. I am now convinced that they are ignoring me in hopes that I just give up so they can keep my deposit and do nothing for it. BE VERY AWARE AND SKEPTICLE! I WANT MY DEPOSIT BACK!
