This is a great place to stop and get a lobster roll. Very reasonable always fresh and I love that they grill the rolls with butter.

Simple. Basic. Perfect for what it is right across from the beach! Highly recommend the turkey gobbler.

I go to Ida Mae's on a regular basis. I love their lobster rolls and they make an awesome pulled pork sandwich. I usually get whatever the special of the day is and Im never dissapointed. Not sure why people say the service is bad Karen and Brian are always freindly. read more

This was truly an experience ordering lunch from this place. The food was actually fairly good, however there was a chicken bone in the chicken Caesar wrap which could have caused a chocking catastrophe. Make sure you know what's in an Italian sandwich or don't ask what is in it or you get a curt response. Sadly, the customer service is lacking! This reminded me of the episode on Seinfeld when Elaine was trying to order soup.Again,the food was pretty good but would have tasted better if I felt it was made with love. read more

I've been living in Seabrook all my life and came here once last summer and couldn't get enough of it...coming by at least 4 times a week. People on here shred the service for being bad but it's tough love get over it! Can get busy at times but they are open to anything...I asked to put a hash brown on my sandwich and they did it! Even named the sandwich after me. Get the "Danny Boy" when ya get a chance! Sausage egg and cheese on an everything with a hash brown. Chefs Kiss. read more

Extremely rude and even racist. Came here out of desperation for food, and ordered some lobster stew and fries. My (Asian) friend behind me overheard a family being offered pasta salad with their meal proceeded to order said pasta salad, only to hear that "there was none left." We didn't want to create a scene so we left with just the stew and fries. The place is filthy, boxes and trash are stashed everywhere, and food is expensive for a "deli" place. Lobster stew tasted like it had been left out for days and then reheated just for me. Do yourself a favor and stay away from here, especially when there are other places down the street. read more

Don't believe what you read here! IDA MAE is awesomely friendly and very nice! I went there today and had a killer lobster roll and clam chowder and it was under twenty bucks with drink! The lobster was tender, fresh with just the right amount of dressing on a freshly grilled roll. The chowder was hot, full of fresh clams and oh so homemade! A sure winner read more

Review for breakfast only. Have come for breakfast sandwiches multiple times. All were good. Home fries good too. Not going to be influenced by these other reviews. Have never had a bad customer service here. Food is on the pricey side. However, if these people can't make a living then Dunks would be the only breakfast sandwiches around. Small place with big flavor! Got the "Crows Nest" and it was delicious!! Had to eat it with a fork and knife but so worth it! My husband got chocolate chips pancakes. They didn't disappoint. Full of chips! Definitely a good locate place to try! Yum! read more

I totally agree with Andrew J. Don't eat here, unless you're a masochist who enjoys a side of abuse with your overpriced lunch. The sandwiches are too expensive, and while the lobster rolls may seam reasonably priced, really they're lackluster. I don't know what everybody is talking about. The owner is apparently notorious for being rude, and she lives up to her reputation. People really shouldn't put up with her attitude for such mediocre, overpriced food. I literally left without ordering anything and told her I was taking my business elsewhere. It was a good choice. There are some really great places right next door. So we are doing laundry next door and consider grabbing a bite here. The older lady behind the counter is pretty unhappy in her work/in general-I got that when she tells me breakfast was done at 11am...but I tried to brush that off. My girlfriend of many years hits the bathroom and I break out my laptop to see what people are saying and what looks good before I order it. I end up reading just a few reviews-but already I am not feeling this place. First off 3 stars as an average sucks. Not a place I would stop at, but like I said we were right next door doing laundry... Anyway I see the comments about alleged racism and that with the ladies attitude/vibe has me wanting to walk out. My girlfriend comes out of the rest room and I tell her what I read-realizing it was one comment and how seriously should we take it? I ask her about the bathroom which I read was pretty rough. She says to me, "looks like it hasn't been cleaned in about a month". To me that paints a picture of a place that doesn't care about cleanliness, it's customers and has no pride. The racist thing would be enough for us, but 1 person saying that makes it tough for us to make a call-but seeing other people's complaints realized by our own experiences-well that was enough. We won't go back if we were starving. Sorry but people that don't service their bathroom often probably don't clean other areas all that much. Never returning. Not even on a bet. read more
