Everyone was magically before me in queue. This time, I was told 15 mins wait but I waited a bit over 30 mins for an unfriendly doctor. From experience, the doctors are good here but I'm not a fan of how the receptionist runs things. In the past, I would wait 10 mins max. I'm not sure what happened. This place used to be really good :/ Maybe call and book an appointment with a specific doctor ( not all the doctors are good here. That day, I had a bad doctor!) I don't think I'll ever come back. You'll be assigned a family doctor after going through a screening session. - You want to enter through the main doors on the right. It's next to the eye clinic and McDonald's I have been thinking about getting a different family doctor. Even with an appointment, I can spent up to three hours at the doctor's office and I'd say that 85% of the time, I am waiting. A few days ago, I had stomach issues. Bloating. Dull pains. It was all new to me. I decided to seek out a walk-in clinic and found Jack Nathan Health, which is in Walmart. I figured out later that it was next to the eye clinic. I called the clinic. I asked about walk-in versus appointment. An appointment requires declaring yourself as a patient who has a family doctor here. The first step is to have an initial consultation with a doctor. After you have a family doctor, you can set up appointments. The first consultation was the end of May. I needed to see a doctor soon, so I asked about the walk-in clinic. The nice woman on the phone said that I could come on over. It wasn't busy. Cool! I parked closer to the Walmart food entrance. I had a longer walk over to the entrance where McDonald's and the eye clinic was. I found the health clinic and walked in. A male patient was talking to one of the female staffers at the counter, behind plexiglass. One of them greeted me. I was new to this clinic, so I had to fill out a form on both sides after I had presented my health card. The male overheard that I had just renewed my health card. He asked where I went to get mine done. I said at Service Ontario on Highway 7, west of Markham Road, in a plaza with a Dollarama. He thought it was closed. Um, no. I was there last Friday. I took out Google Maps. He couldn't place this Service Ontario. He finally asked if there was a No Frills. I pointed out that it was across the street from it and everything clicked. It helped that Google Maps has visuals. He was nice. He thanked me for my help. I'm glad that I could help. I filled out the two-page form. I sat briefly before I went into examination room 2. The man that I spoke to was the only patient ahead of me. It was crazy how fast it was to see a doctor. I got Dr Richards as my walk-in doctor. She was great listening to me and asking questions that would help her formulate my diagnosis. She had a calming presence about her. I got to lie down on the examination table. Yep, she confirmed that I had bloating going on around my stomach. The pain was more sensitive on my left and around the lower part of my stomach. I was diagnosed with a stomach ulcer. It was convenient being at Walmart because I could get everything I needed. What I should do: - Drink lots of water to stay hydrated - Continue enjoying yogurt or take a probiotic - Take Gravol for nausea I haven't been nauseous so far. I got a prescription for antibiotics. They seem to have kicked in a day later and has reduced some of the acid in my system. The doctor was great answering all my questions and explaining everything to me. I'd love to have her as my regular doctor. I got a prescription. I picked it up at the main check-in counter at the clinic. I thanked both women and headed to the pharmacy to get Gravol. I went to my usual pharmacy to get my prescription filled. I then got yogurt and drinks from the food section of Walmart before I left. I am grateful for this clinic and how nice everyone was. I was pleased that I got a diagnosis and how to fix me. I hope that I feel better soon. In the meantime, I know where to get Gravol and yogurt. (156)

My hubby suggested i try this clinic out as he has been here before and our kids have as well. I went to their website to check out their hours etc. It's suggested that you make an appointment. Otherwise the wait for the walk in clinic can take a minimum of 30 minutes to see the doctor and possibly an hour or more as he sees his regular patients in between. I was taken in right at the time i had booked, the waiting room had 3-4 other patients waiting as well. I love that there is also a pharmacy within the office - quick & easy to pick up a prescription with hardly any wait time compared to Shoppers etc. The only thing is, if you don't live in the area, it's easy to miss this plaza as there is no entrance from Highway 7. The only entrance is on Cosburn Road which is your first right after Markham Road going East on Highway 7. Super convenient hours as they are open until 8 pm Monday - Friday and until 3 pm on weekend.

Maybe that's Yelp's fault, though, I don't know. I was recommended to Dr. Ng by a friend a while ago when I was in North York and had a fever. This friend was a registered patient of Dr. Ng's, said she was kind and attentive. I'm sure she's great to her clients, but as a walk-in patient I felt like she was practically shoving me out the door. I was sick and visiting a new place and had high expectations from my friend's glowing review. What a letdown. This experience has always stuck with me even though it's been years. At least Dr. Ng is currently not accepting walk-ins - sick people deserve better treatment!

I was suffering with pink eye and didn't want to drive that far to my family doctor so I came here instead. They were able to help and prescribed me with antibiotics. The only downside I would say is it's always super busy with very long line ups out the door. Sometimes you may need to wait more than an hour - it's insane.

I have been seeing Dr. Cynthia Tang for physiotherapy on and off over the past years. She has been…read moregreat help bringing me back to recovery whenever I suffered from neck injuries and muscle tensions/pain. Her method of care is straight forward and effective. Don't be alarmed to go back for 3-4 sessions. It certainly takes time to heal. Each session is about an hour long. The therapist first applies a gel on the affacted area and massages with a warm massage rod to sooth the nerve inflammation. She then proceeds to use electrodes to pulsate my neck muscles... you can choose the level of intensity. It feels so good that I usually fall alseep! And lastly, she finishes with hand massage and gentle muscle stretching exercises. At the end of each session, Cynthia will give you advice and reminder on what you should do and should not do to prevent further injuries and to relief tensions. Be sure to make an appointment! They will try to accommodate the best they can even on the same day. The staff there are courteous, friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended :)
