Two were Justin's artwork, designed after consulting with us: a griffin launching off a rock in the ocean (took 3 hours to tattoo), and a set of specific flowers (magnolia, sunflower, borage, and chamomile) growing from a port scar (1 hour). One was created from custom artwork of our own (30 minutes, and it came out completely true to the original drawing). I won't lie, there are varying levels of pain involved, but Justin put us at ease and helped us get through it. And it's totally worth it. Our 17yo kid found devotion, having searched extensively for a shop with talented artists and impeccable safety/hygiene practices. We walked in without appointments, and left completely thrilled with Justin's work.

I have a number of tattoos, and know when a tattoo artist has a soft touch tattooing style or not; Martin has a gentle touch and is a considerate tattoo artist, as he is aware some areas of the body are more sensitive than others, and when tattooing a complex tattoo (where it is necessary to apply more ink to one particular area), he knows that could become a sensitive spot. My partner went in for snake bites a few days ago. He went back in today to get a larger bar since…read morehis lip was swelling more so than the first couple days. The piercer that helped him told him they did not have a longer bar in their size. a good piercer would've sent him elsewhere. instead, she says, "we're gonna put a bigger gauge bar in and that should give you plenty of length because we dont have a longer barbell in your gauge" why on earth would gauging up the piercing be a good idea? we took the piercings out tonight and there was copious amounts of puss coming out. for reference, here is a photo of his lip, and the barbells they gave him today. please, do not go to this shop. the service, education, and overall customer service from the employees continue to disappoint me at this store. thank god their boise location shut down! i already did not like this shop because of an experience from a couple years ago. my little sister came to get her lobes done and they were very rude about her being anxious, and rightfully so- she was 10 and had the staff been encouraging and supportive and kind maybe she wouldve had more confidence prior to getting her piercings. with my own personal experience, the male that pierced my rook pierced it so terribly and slowly so it hurt way more than was necessary. then AFTER PIERCING goes, "oh i didnt get the right jewelry" like ??? get ur sh!t together.
