Horrible experience. Got my 4th lobes pierced yesterday and the "head piercer" pierced them at a severe angle, I'm just in shock. I only have a few piercings but I know enough to know that this is completely ridiculous. Unfortunately the high quality jewelry they brag about and overcharge for is absolute trash. Both balls from my septum piercing fell off within 24 hours. Now I'm out the money I spent, the money I will have to spend to buy a new one and the time I wasted getting pierced. Earring has healed so well and easily that I was accidentally sleeping on it within a couple of days. Don't recommend sleeping on it - just saying. Came in several several months ago and bought a "titanium" septum ring with jewels. $146 dollars since i thought I was paying for quality. This is not titanium. Pure titanium implant grade jewelry does not rust or tarnish. This has tarnished to a brown and one of the gems has gone completely green. Definitely not trusting them again. Mind you I haven't gone in any pool or lake or any water of any kind other than shower water. I've been wearing it for over half a year. For that amount of money I expected a WAY longer life expectancy. Mind you my review is not from some immediate experience with them where I run to yelp and give five stars because they did their job but one of longevity testing out something they sold me that cost me basically $150 dollars. read more

I got my nose pierced at Imperial Body Art six years ago. When I got it pierced, their location was on Orchard in Boise. Since then they have moved to this location on Fairview in Meridian. My piercing experience way back when was great. Sure, it hurt a little and made my eyes water. But it was still a pleasant experience. High levels of professionalism, cleanliness, and there is just a friendly bunch of folks that works here. I left their shop with a cute little nose hoop in--never once got infected, never gave me any problems, so I have never once taken out the hoop! YOU GUYS. That is SIX years without ever taking it out. I've been so happy with it that I've never wanted to take it out or put a different piece of jewelry in. But this last week I had to take out the hoop and put in a stud for a formal occasion. I've spent hours in front of the mirror trying to figure out how to take this thing out and just could not get it. So, I gave them a call and asked if they'd swap it out for me. I showed up, waited a few minutes while the piercer finished up with an appointment, picked out a new stud, and they swapped it out for me. All I had to pay for was the stud! The gal who helped me was super friendly and quick! Plus, she told me that I can come back whenever and have them swap it out for me if I don't want to mess with it on my own. "We only charge if you're buying jewelry or we make a new hole," is what she told me. I left paying $28 for the new piece of jewelry that I bought. And now as I write this, I am missing my nose hoop. So with that, I think I'll head their way right now and have them swap it back out for me. :) read more

I went here and got my belly button pierced about 6 months ago. First of all their "high quality" piercing jewelry broke twice from the shower. They did it way too high and in the wrong position so no normal size belly ring could fit. They also tried to put in a bar that was way too short for my piercing (normal sized for everyone else) which caused an insane amount of swelling, pain, and if I hadn't gone back the next day to get a different bar, it would have gotten infected. Once it healed and I realized that none of the belly rings I had bought fit my piercing, I took it out to try to let it heal. It's now healed but if I ever want to go somewhere else and get it redone correctly I will have an ugly circular scar above it. I'm under 18 and I will have this ugly scar for the rest of my life. I cant speak for this shops tattoos or other piercing, but I would not recommend getting your belly button pierced here. read more
