This university is a great place to get your after high school education. I am a junior (14 more credits until I am a senior, hello graduation) and majoring in anthropology. My favorite place to be on campus is the performing arts center. It is so beautiful! The library is cool, too. The professors are knowledgeable of what they are teaching. The staff and faculty are super nice, too. Everyone should ignore those trolls who post graphic animal cruelty photos. Those photos have nothing to do with the university. #MoveOnIdaho read more

This is a great university and I am so glad I chose it over other Idaho schools. It has so much to offer to students. Many of the complaints of the school are old and there are a lot of new staff and new president of the university. I'm only a freshman here but I love it so much and will defend it from anyone who belittles the university. #betterasabengal read more

Well it was graduation weekend, as we strolled across the expanses of lawn and the seeming Acres of grass. With a sea of parking, and such well-cared-for facilities, I can see how popular this place could be. One of our great friends graduated, and we couldn't be happier with Idaho State University and all the grounds that surround it. read more

A family acquaintance came here as an international student and since they don't have a yelp account, I'm posting this review on their behalf. Their experience here was less than satisfactory due to episodes of discrimination and bias both on campus and in town. Unfortunately, the school administration wasn't much help to them either. As a result, they ended up going back to their home country. Since international students pay 2-3 times the amount in tuition than a regular student, the tuition might not be worth the experience. If you're an international student, I would advise you to do your research thoroughly and consider the demographic makeup of Pocatello before considering this school. read more

TAKE THESE PICTURES DOWN !!! This is a decent little U in the heart of Pocatello. the professors are good, the campus is beautiful for a little campus and the location is also scenic. I would give it a solid B to B+ but for god sakes would someone remove these animal trophy pics?!! Is this college posting this as a place condoning the murder of exotic animals to prove their manhood? or are these posted by some schmuck? I'm an Idahoan, an I am grown ass man and this is appalling. take that crap down please. Would it be okay if I posted a bunch of dead humans as trophy's instead here in its place, would that make it an atrocity then? read more

HORRIBLE CRIMINAL SCAMMERS! They wooed me, until they got all my money. Then when I went to classes, the teachers were stupid, made stuff up, threatened me, harassed me. And when I complained about it, they threatened to ARREST ME AS A TERRORIST! I am sorry, but being intelligent and knowing my rights does not constitute being a "terrorist"! Lastly, they BANNED me from all ISU property, even though they own half the city, and many public programs are ON CAMPUS. How is this institution still in business??? read more

I have tried to contact this uni countless times with no response , they also employ staff who murder wildlife just for fun and do NOTHING about it, no way am I sending my children here, I'm choosing a uni with good ethics....something Idaho State Uni is very short of. read more
