She really broke it down to the basics for me and saved me a few times when I needed it! The space is nice, clean, and super convenient. The man that helped us was extremely rude. He unplugged the vac for her and treated her horrible. There was a piece of plastic like material inside and I am sure it happened when she allowed the construction crew to use it after the carpet was installed. It wasn't just us he snapped at another elderly lady that came up to pay. I asked for the manager and I was rudely told he was the owner! My sister told me they were so helpful all these years. To bad their customer service is so bad now.

Last Friday the Willard Arts Center held an opening for their Japanese Woodblock Prints exhibit,…read moreand it was fabulous! The curator, Nathan Barnes, gave a great presentation on the artists, this particular medium and Japanese history at the time woodblocking was an industry. They served sushi and drinks and used the premier to promote local artist Steve Neilsen's exhibit, Out of Chaos, upstairs. And because this was the exhibit's opening, the Art Center was open in the evening! Idaho Falls may not be the most cultured city, but events like this prove we have potential! I love supporting the arts, and this is a great opportunity to do just that while experiencing some phenomenal Japanese woodblock prints. While I wish these exhibits could be open in the evenings, I'm sure they don't have the funding to pay for the support staff those hours would require. But maybe if more of us frequent the Willard Arts Center, it will give them reason to look for ways to make that work!
