There is parking either at McEuen Park or over by the Trailhead marker by Sanders Beach. Hiked during the week and it wasn't too crowded though some of the beach areas scattered along the way are not huge so you may want to get there earlier on weekends. The hike itself is fairly easy to moderate. The main trail is easy, however, if you go off path and down to the shoreline you just have to watch your step. Definitely not for walking around in flip flops.

It's also just $11. The breakfast was quite good with loads of choices (see the pic I posted). The fruit cups were a refreshing treat for 'dessert', so I had two. Yummy. The folks were friendly and cleaned up tables as folks finished their rounds of food. It was also fun meeting some of the folks that have spent time in the military protecting this country. In addition to all of that, there is a nice bit of history throughout the halls of the building. This is a cool place to fill your stomach on a Sunday morning, and yes, it is open to the public.

We serve the public in a large banquet room. You can take to go. Bring the kids. For veterans very good place to hang out. Non profit so many many volunteers help keep this post open. The public can use the banquet room for events.
