Scott has been wonderful in getting rid of my rat problem. I literally had juveniles (probably 2…read moreto 3 weeks old) surface in my front yard under my boxwood hedge. That wasn't counting the adults. It was bad. Scott came out and assessed the area in the beginning and placed traps and bait out. When that didn't work, Scott came out again. Him and I discussed additional baiting that was necessary and was also cognizant of my furbaby when it came to safety. I certainly didn't need a 12-month commitment, like most of the pest control companies require in the area. In fact, after the second time coming out, never again did I see the 6 juvenile and adult rats. Scott is passionate about Boise's problem with the rat infestation that has taken over in the area, and the one thing that he wants to do, is handle the issue professionally and quickly. Each yard in the area, is unique. With baiting practices and rats that may take a more aggressive approach, than others. My yard was the one that was "unique," and within 30-days or so, my problem was eliminated. One of the other things I appreciated about Scott was that he was educated on the types of bait/traps in addition to the problem with rats. I learned quickly, that Rats are intelligent and it takes a professional who understands rat behavior in order to control/get rid of them. The value of the service was priceless! I actually discontinued my previous long-time pest control provider to switch to Armis! I feel like…read morethe competition in the area is pretty high, so things like customer service are going to make places like this stick out. I called Armis to try them out because we have a vole problem in our backyard. We didn't want to use rodenticides (our previous provider's only option) or anything like that because, although they are supposedly kid and pet safe, we still didn't want to poison a vole that might later be eaten by a bird or neighbor's puppy, etc. When I chatted with Ronald at Armis about the problem he was more willing to consider our concerns and problem solve with us to avoid using rodenticides, but clearly communicated all the options and trade offs. Also Ronald has been really responsive whenever we had questions. We appreciated the couple of one-off services enough that we signed up for their quarterly service.
