BUT it's location is a bit sketchy at night, the free parking lot is least to be desired however they do have a garage parking for €5 per night (I've already spent enough on this trip, I tried saving anyway I can). The free breakfast well, do yourself a favor, skip it. They do make you free and fresh espresso, cappuccinos so kudos for that. But the breakfast itself... Eggs were so weird, I think it's powdered eggs, undercooked bacon (if and when they had any), canned fruits, and very little selection of food items. So the good parts? Yes, there are... Modern decor, spacious (for an Italian hotel) rooms, clean, comfy beds (for Italian standard). There is a supermarket Auschan next door but they don't sell cooked food, go here if you want to buy bottled water, snacks, chocolates, Any grocery items. Look for a place called Da Marco for the best pizza in Rome =). TIP: if you plan to stay here, DO NOT book your hotel via 3rd party sites, for some reason they tack on additional charges of about €30 more. Go directly on the HI site. Also, upon check out, you will be charged an additional €6 per person for some "Rome tax" this is on top of what you already paid for the room. Another tip: utilize their free parking, just take all your belongings with you. Enjoy!

First off the management staff is horrible, online it's advertised as a standard bed but the…read morereality of it is that is a twin size bed, and for a person that's almost 6 feet tall doesn't work. The air conditioning doesn't work, when we reported the problem all they had to say was that the whole building was the same way. We purchase food after the bar was closed granted we were not expecting a full bar menu but the warmed up some frozen dinner in the microwave and when we took it to the room it was still frozen inside. Impossible to eat. I would not recommend this place to no one. There are 2 other hotels next door please skip this one.

We didn't rent a car so I can't comment on parking, but everything you want to see, like the Colosseum, is just a short walk from the hotel or you can take a cab. The staff were wonderful with helpful suggestions from the front desk to the amazing breakfast buffet staff that always gave us a very warm "buongiorno" when we came in. After a few days the server didn't need to ask anymore he just brought me a cappuccino when I sat down. That is probably the biggest breakfast buffets I have ever seen. The two pictures don't fully capture it all. I really liked this hotel and would be back if I am ever in Rome again.

Plenty of shopping, dining and coffee nearby. The room was clean and modern with a fully stocked, complimentary mini bar. Loved the bathroom, the bar upstairs and the breakfast buffet and coffee with Salvatore was a great start to each day. The downstairs spa was a bit small, but enjoyable nonetheless, with steam room, sauna, and simple hydrotherapy stations. All in all this was the best accommodations we had our entire 10 day trip throughout Italy. Will gladly stay here again! The staff, service, location, amenities and facility were all stellar!

The room smelled to cigarette smoke the three days that we stayed even though the room was "non smoking" and they entered to clean it everyday. The location of the hotel is kinda sketchy, it is at least 15 minutes walking from restaurants and places of interest, the only places near are a pizzeria and a market with an ikea store both which close on early evening.

I think this…read morewas about the nicest hotel I've stayed in while in Italy, and I've stayed in a fair number of Italian hotels of a number of quality levels. The staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to help or answer any questions. The hotel rooms have universal adapters that can accept North American two prong plugs - which is really nice when one has a limited number of adapters. The heat/air conditioning worked quite well. The bed was quite comfortable, I had no problems falling asleep, and slept quite well on the bed in my room. The bathroom was nice - especially given that this is an Italian hotel. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choices. The hotel is next to an Auchan super center so if extras are needed one does not have to go far for these extras. Admittedly the hotel is out on the outer edge of the city but there is a bus stop fairly close that heads to the Santa Maria del Soccorso subway station, which you can use to get to the main sites in Rome - just give yourself plenty of time when using Roman public transportation.

We were visiting Rome for the weekend (we are stationed in Naples). The owner is very friendly and speaks pretty good English. We arrived at night and he told us where we could get some food. The bedrooms were clean and had the basics (bed, wardrobe, desk, bathroom with shower). One thing to keep in mind is that items you would find in a hotel (shampoo, bodywash, soap, etc) is not included. Not a huge deal, but coming from America, I expect that, so just keep that in mind and bring some travel sizes with you. He brought breakfast to our room Saturday. We opted not to have breakfast on Sunday because we wanted to get a really early start since it was our last day there. It was nice not to have to worry about where to eat breakfast. There was free wifi as well and he showed us how to connect to it. The metro station is within a 5-10 minute walk and the owner gives you a business card with directions to the metro station (very helpful!). From there we took the subway into the city. Overall it was a decent experience and I would stay here again. The price was pretty good too (140 euro for 2 nights).
