These guys stripped every fastener in the wheel and rotor assemblies on my vehicle. They over torqued the wheels down to the point where my 1400 ft-lb electric impact could not take off the overtightened lug nuts. Additionally, the overtightened lug nuts warped my rotors. I had to go back and ask this shop to reinstall the wheels correctly. And finally, I now need an extractor kit just to replace the front rotors since the retainer screws are stripped. thx (i had recently replaced the retainer screws by hand, so I knew they were in good condition before this shop mangled them) And finally, they are way overpriced for this sort of service. read more

I scheduled a 10 am oil change, inspection and check an engine light. It took them 6 hours to just do that works and get back to me with the results. I agreed to some follow-up work that would take an hour. Three hours later no word from the shop. I called and texted, no response because they were closed. They provided no courtesy in informing me that the car would be in overnight. This was an unnecessary inconvenience as I needed the vehicle the next morning. I made a 1pm appointment to get my oil changed and tires rotated. My husband called and asked about getting a loaner car if it would take a long time, the guy said 30 minutes tops. I brought the car in just before 1pm and another guy walked in right before me. Ideal looked at his car first and I ended up sitting there for an hour and a half! My car wasn't even looked at until almost an hour of sitting there, I was sent a text that the inspection was completed at 1:54pm. They sent me an estimate at 1:58pm, had me check out at about 2pm and then worked on my car. My car was finally done around 2:30, actually a little after. If they couldn'twork on my car at the scheduled time, they shouldn't have promised it'd be done in 30 minutes. On top of the long wait, my car makes a funny noise it didn't make before bringing it in. We will never go back there. read more

I have had the worst experience here. I brought my car in on a Sunday night for an appointment for Monday, called the following day since now one reach out to update me about my car and the whole next week at that! It came to the point where I was calling so often I felt that I was being a bother or a nuisance at that point. I was also told that they looked at my car and they found the problem and when I called and yesterday I was told that my car wasn't even looked at. Communication was beyond poor half of the times I called to the shop i was redirected to voicemail and still no call back..... so currently my car has been sitting untouched weeks until yesterday i finally went and picked it up and no shocker it was no fixed after prompting me, my car would be fixed last Thursday. overall, Dan was a nice guy when I got in touch with him, but the business here is poor, very unprofessional overall, if you were looking for For a fast efficient shop this is not the place overall very disappointed beyond words. read more

Josh and his team at ideal were fabulous to work with! They gave an honest review of the work needed on my vehicle and completed that work at a fair price (I had gotten quotes from 4 other shops). A prime example of the honesty and integrity of these guys: While waiting for my vehicle a woman came in who had been told by another shop that she needed a new tie rod. This woman had wanted the team at ideal to take a look at her car and wanted a quote from them as well. After a few minutes looking at her vehicle an ideal team member told her that she did not have a broken tie rod at all!! The team at ideal sent her on her merry way without charging a penny or making any money from the customer. Ideal Automotive is honest, reliable, and trustworthy. Initially, I went to there for an AC recharge that I purchased on Groupon, but returned to get my back brakes done. They do a good job and did not add more to the quote once they inspected my back brakes or AC recharge. Their prices are fair and I am very happy I was connected with them through Groupon.
