Got multiple fillings here (which I now feel / know we're not necessary). I have never been in so much pain after a filling(s). It has been almost a year and I keep getting told to just wait all while getting charged at every turn for every X-ray for a problem they created. I am in constant pain, I really wish I never went to this place, I have multiple gaps in my teeth that I did not have before. The dentist here just rushed to do my fillings, while talking about cabinets instead of focusing on my teeth! Went to another Ideal when I first was experiencing pain and she said my fillings were super high, although I told the dentist at the Presidio location that my bite was off, she told me that they didn't look high to her! I'm sick and tired of my pain and concerns not taking seriously while I have been dealing with this issue for almost a year now. I really regret going here and just trusting dentist to suggest and do what is best instead of doing things for money and not knowing what they are doing. Instead of trying to help me with the problem they caused, they keep trying to suggest other treatment that has nothing to do with my pain! Dr. Sasha Mogali is the best! She takes time to listen and involve her patients in every aspect of the treatment. She thoroughly and patiently explains the plan and executes it flawlessly. Our family has varied dental issues but she made us feel confident that we are taken care of. Notes were not accurately in the file causing issues including being told I'm confused about what was said about the treatment needed when Less than 4 months ago I had a very clear discussion with the hygienist who is nice but did not notate changes. Because of that the receptionist was extremely rude and kept telling me that didn't happen/I'm confused. Go somewhere else the front desk will gaslight you and is very unprofessional. They constantly move your appointment the day of or all together push your appointments out. I came here to get my teeth fixed because of some uneven surfaces. I was able to get an appointment quickly and the staff is so friendly. Dr. Hai Phan was my dentist and he is an expert and such a professional. He made me feel safe and really knew what he was talking about. My teeth looked so much nicer and noticed a major improvement. I am so grateful for everyone here. I was in a lot of pain when I made an appointment for 11 am in the middle of the night. I can't think of her name but one of the ladies at the front called to get me in a whole hour and a half sooner. When I got there, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The X-Ray tech was so patient with me as I removed all my facial piercings. The Dr that examined me was kind and understanding. It felt like a judge free zone and he got me on an antibiotic the same day. Scheduling my appointment with an oral surgeon was made a complete breeze with the same woman that called me to get me in earlier. She was so helpful in getting me assistance to pay for an extraction I desperately needed even though I didn't have insurance. She even got me an appointment for the very next day. Dentist. It is a word that strikes fear into the heart of many...particularly myself. I have periodontal issues which run in my family...which would be enough to make anyone a little anxious about their dental health - but with a history of unpleasant dental experiences and extensive orthodontic work as a child, going to the dentist is not exactly my idea of a fun time. Thankfully, Dr Phan actually does an amazing job making me feel at ease and is very upfront about my dental procedures. Honesty means A LOT to a dental patient. Dr Phan and his staff make sure that I feel as little discomfort as possible and adjust their procedures and recommendations to meet my needs and concerns. If a dental practice keeps you out of pain, listens to you to adapt to your lifestyle and even adjusts your chart so that they don't keep offering you a service you're not interested in - oh my gosh keep them! You would do yourself and your family a favor to go anywhere but here. I've been coming here for 5 years. Every time my wife goes for an appointment, they over bill my insurance. I don't care as long as I don't come out of pocket. I had a crown put in. Its to high. One year later, still in pain. Today, I finally have time to have a check up. I show up and they need me to update my insurance. I can not do it after my cleaning? I've been coming for 5 years. Do they think I'm going to skip out on my bill? They called and texted multiple time to confirm my appointment. That would have been a convenient time to talk to me about insurance. I have a feeling the dentists here are not hired for their dental skill. I don't come back because the dentists are great. Most people are too busy to shop around for dentists. Ideal Dental was not my first choice for a dentist in my area. However, after reading reviews of some of my first choices, I came across Ideal Dental. I'm glad I did. My experience beginning (walking in the door and the staff in the front office) to meeting Dr. Hai Phan and his Dental Assistants was wonderful. Dr. Hai Phan has a lot of patience and was very understanding about my fear of going to the dentist. I had several teeth pulled and a partial. Usually I would have requested to be asleep during these procedures, but didn't. To my surprise, it wasn't has bad as I've experienced before. What I REALLY appreciated was the day after the procedure, Dr. Hai Phan personally called to check up on me. Before one of my sessions, They staff even called to see if I wanted to come in earlier, because they had a cancellation. Finally, I shared with the staff that a co-worker of mine didn't have the same great experience I had. They seemed sincerely concerned and told me they would follow up with the co-worker. I had a toothache this past Friday and had to see a dentist urgently. I called around but most of the doctors were not flexible to see me. I happened to saw this office and gave them a call. The receptionists, Lindsay and Amanda, were very considerate. Dr. Phan was very prompt and efficient. He was able to take me out of pain immediately. His anesthesia technique was painless. Hardly felt the injection, and I'm the type to freak out with needles. I have had horrible experiences with previous dentists. I was in and out within an hour because his staff was very efficient. Amazing dentist ! My mother went in with extreme pain, expecting to have teeth pulled and she came home with no pain and the teeth were saved. She had to have double emergency root cannals, they stayed two hours after they closed to finish, they really went above and beyond. They even helped her get financing at 0% interest for a year, which is a really big thing for our family. The staff are excellent, very kind and answered all her questions with a wonderful attitude.
